Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Han-Hyo-Joo: 2013 happenings #1
Been slacking a tad lately with these older Hyo-Joo posts, really not her fault as there's been so many things to post about Nogi recently. Seeing as how it'll be another five days until the next recaps for the "W" drama let's try to squeeze a few of these posts in.
The "W" drama is Hyo-Joo's first one in six years, she's been in so many popular movies since then we can understand that long gap. Wondering then if it's going to be another long stretch once this series finishes up, ratings are growing with each episode so hopefully that'll persuade her do another one much sooner. Just checked and actually the rating for the ninth episode went down but then again it was the first so-so episode.
For these older posts will have no order to them, all be devoted to one year but that will be the only kind of order for them. Starting this post off with a fine set from the January 2013 issue of Elle.
Korean actresses are definitely much more conservative than their Japanese counterparts when it comes to mag spreads. That's not a bad thing in any way but after doing so many posts for mag spreads you kind of notice certain trends and such. Being a bit conservative can be a good thing as Hyo-Joo proves here in the March 21st issue of High Cut, this easily beats most spreads.
One last mag spread for now but will have more of them coming up for 2013's second post, this small set is from the September issue of InStyle.
Lastly some tremendous Hyo-Joo pics for the Viki Spring/Summer collection, after the pics check out a short CM.
