Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Manami Higa: "Honjitsu wa, Ohigara mo Yoku" drama press conference pics and video

Told everyone two weeks ago the month of January is usually a very slow period for the big faves I like to follow, for once I was right on a semi prediction but wish it wasn't so. You may have noticed that lately as there haven't been as many posts as usual but things should be picking up soon. Most Winter season dramas will be starting up soon so there should be a few posts about them, doesn't look like a strong season again but there are two series I plan on watching.
One is "Honjutsu wa, Ohigara mo Yoku" which is Manami's second leading role in a drama. For such a slow period it's kind of odd that she's had a post two days in a row, hopefully there will be a few upcoming ones for the drama. It's only going to be a four episode series but sometimes those shorter ones tend to be better, usually there's zero filler.
On January 13th there was a press conference for the drama which starts tomorrow. It's not a big cast which could be a plus as I'd rather concentrate on you-know-who. Also in the drama who you will see in a few pics is Kyoko Hasegawa who was one of my early faves as she was in so many fabulous dramas in the late 2000's such as "Dragon Zakura". After these terrific pics from the press conference check out the video from it.
