Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Marie Iitoyo: "Kyo no Kira-kun" film promo event pics plus....
The first Marie post that was done in December has proved to be incredibly popular, think it was in the top ten for most viewed 2016 posts. Have been wanting do do some followups but she's not as active as other actresses. Actually she is busy but they're not things that make for interesting posts but have a feeling we'll be seeing much more of Marie in 2017.
Marie has a film coming out on April 1st titled "Girls in the Dark", it co-stars Fumika Shimizu. Don't know if you've read any entertainment news from the last week but it's a strange story as Fumika has retired from acting and joined the cult religious group Happy Science. Kind of a quirky situation, the film is finished at least and it also looks like her acting career is too. You can read the story at Dorama World, the link to the site is under 'Blogs I Follow'.
Back to Marie who really is one cutie, should have done a post for her 19th b-day which took place on January 5th as I have a feeling she's going to have a long career. She's really an easy gal to like, by the amount of views her previous post had seems many others think so too. First pic here is from issue #5 of WPB while the others are from issue #10.
Marie has the lead female role in her next film "Kyo no Kira-kun". The film is coming out this Saturday and will definitely have a post of the premiere. On February 20th she and her co-star Nakagawa made an appearance at the Shinagawa Etoile Girls High School in Tokyo do promote the movie. Plenty of fine pics here from the event and following them is a video of it. Top pic is the film's poster and there's a few stills from the movie.
