Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruna Kawaguchi: Happy 22nd birthday....
Will keep this short for a change as some of these b-day posts seem to go on and on and on.... Besides celebrating her 22nd b-day tomorrow Haruna is also celebrating ten years in showbiz. However Haruna made her first appearance in a drama eight years ago so perhaps she was in a few things I don't know about, fine spread to start off with from WPB #7 which should have been bigger.
Haruna released a photobook a few years ago, I'll be working on that for everyone as her two recent posts have drawn quite a few views, she's much more popular than I thought. Though this is a shortish post will be working on a few other new things which as she has a film coming next week so there should be a few more mag spreads or interview pics.
Have been looking for her 'Lady Marmalade' movies from 2013 with zero luck to date. The new film which will be released on February 18th is titled "One Week Friends", hopefully it's her last time playing a teen role. On February 5th there was an event for the film at Tokyo Plaza in Ginza where there was also an early party for Haruna's 22nd b-day.
As you can see by these pics she was a bit emotional, plus after them is a video of the event. Though those 'Lady Marmalade' films couldn't be found a 2016 film she was in "Creepy" just came out on DVD and think I'll be checking that out. Will be back next weekend with a post for the new film's premiere and any other new happenings that may take place.
