Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: Airi Suzuki "Airimania" style photobook scans
First time I've used the name C-ute in a post title, this book came out when the group was still together. I still listen to their CD's as often as I did years ago and the same goes for viewing their concerts on DVD. It took some months after their breakup until I started missing them but with no singles coming out the past year that missing level is so high and there will never be a J-Pop group that can take their place. What's really sad is that we can't their classic songs in concert anymore,
J-pop groups hardly ever get back together but wish the quintet would be an exception to the rule.
Above are some pics from an event for the photobook and did a post for it back in May 2018 when the PB was released, three weeks before the group's disbandment. "Airimania" is Airi's 13th(!) photobook though it's not like her previous twelve. It's referred to as a 'style book' which consists of clothes Airi thinks are stylish plus attire she may wear out, you'll notice no pics are similar to her other fabulous books.
The PB was published by Ray magazine and Airi is an exclusive model for them and wonder why we don't see her at those immensely popular fashion shows representing them? Forgot I had this book and will admit it's not the greatest of photobooks but it's halfway decent and know she still has a lot of fans out there, you'll notice many pics are from the Ray magazine site. Have been trying to do a post for Airi but that hasn't worked out so well but do promise to have one for her very soon, she did release her first solo album back in June.
