Akari Suda: "Kawaikunaru hoho" photobook event pics and so much more....

 SKE has released two singles this year so wonder if that'll be it for 2018? At one time they used to have three singles a year but the last time for that was in 2014. Brought that up because the group's main member Jurina is on a hiatus right now, she says the reason is health issues but could be that's she's burned out from ten years of nonstop idoling.
 But also wonder if management didn't have a say in the matter as she's been a bit critical of Sakura from HKT recently and it's kind of a no-no to criticize other '48' members. Because of her leave Jurina won't be appearing on AKB's next single, for winning this year's Senbatsu elections she was supposed to be the center of the song but for the first time that won't happen. Hoping this matter will be cleared up soon as she's one of my all time fave '48' gals. SKE didn't miss their leader too much as they appeared at this year's 'Tokyo Idol Fest' which was held in the first week of August.

 August 22nd will go down as a memorable date in the history of Idol photobooks as Akari finally released her first one. Those top two pics are from it and it appears as though it may be the top one for this year. Here's the cover and a few other promo pics from it. Title of the PB is "Kawaikunaru hoho" which translates roughly over to A Cute Way.

 Akari does a superb job at posting pics on her Instagram account or wonder if there isn't some staff worker that does it for her and the other members?

 Just one new mag spread promoting the book but have had about five or more sets from Akari recently, this spread is from the August issue of Bomb.

 As you can see in the first two pics of the above spread the pics for the photobook were taken in Cuba, never heard of an Idol visiting that country and wonder why they chose that location? The PB came out on August 22nd, on the 23rd Akari held a fan greeting session for the book at the Fukuya bookstore in Shinjuku. Hope the book does extremely well and wouldn't surprise me if it's the best selling '48' PB for this year. Plenty of pics from the event and Akari has one of the most kawaiiest smiles in history, after the pics check out a video of the event.
