Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: The idyllic 'Risa Watanabe post' #19....

It's been a terrific three months with these Risa posts but have a strong feeling they'll be coming to an abrupt end, perhaps with this one. Think the total has been ten solo posts since the beginning of February but now that her photobook has been out for a while the mag spreads have crawled to a halt. Plus most of the Spring fashion shows have ceased too but have some fabulous pics of her at the 'Girls Awards' show that was held today.
Hope I'm wrong with that assumption that the posts will be ending for Risa as she just may be is my #1 current Idol, can easily see her taking the top spot on this year's 'Top Twenty Faves List'. What I haven't done for a while are any Keya group posts and really would like to. However there's been virtually zero happening with the group as far as mag spreads and events go but can't say the same for their sister group who always seem to be busy.

Those above are form the last 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show which of course there was a post for as Risa looked quite flawless at that show too. Don't think I'll do another post for the rest of the Keya members as to me this was the only one who looked halfway decent.

Risa's first photobook came out on April 10th which was five weeks ago. First week sales were 73,000 copies sold which was quite impressive, what hasn't been as impressive is that it's sold only about 20,000 copies since then. True that 93,000 is a high total and it'll easily go over 100 K in sales but in all honesty thought sales after five weeks would be around 125,000, perhaps today's show will help. Have posted many promo pics from the PB which have all been utterly perfect but have four new ones for today which are beyond alluring, also have four other fave pics from the PB.

No new mag spreads for today and did expect them to slow down after the PB cam out. Risa has been busier than ever this year too so wouldn't doubt if she's going to take a mini break soon and she doe deserve one. But have been posting some older spreads which may have been missed, this set is from December 2016 when she was eighteen and is from YS-Web #715. It was a group set but just included her solo pics, she looked good back them but nowhere near as perfect as now.

July's issue of Non-no hasn't come out yet but that got me thinking least there will be those spreads for future posts, a few recent ones from their site.

The 'Girls Awards' show was held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in China today. Risa took two strolls on the catwalk but the first one was with a Keya mate which was okay but how come there wasn't an appearance for 'W-Watanabe'?!

That stroll above was on the QALB(huh?) stage. My fave pic from the event was with her ex best buddy and haven't seen a pic of them together for a while.

But of course Risa took a solo spin and looked absolutely amazing, easy to see why she's now my #1 Idol. As usual she was there representing Non-no and is now one of their most popular models, think they must have over 25 of them and she was sixth on their last popular models list. Have a video after the pics from the show though she's not in it long enough but there are many others that deserve to
be viewed.
