Keya's second single under the Sakura name "Ban" was released today, too early to know what the sales were. It's a decent tune and the group's first single "Nobody's Fault" has sold close to 500,000 copies. Have a feeling this new one will top that mark but won't come close to their old sales when they were selling 800,000+ copies of a single, almost all groups have seen a big decrease in their sales this past year. Kind of disappointed there hasn't been all that many recent Keya activities considering the single was just released. Very few new mag spreads, no events and really the only thing has been appearing on TV music shows. Those are okay but after a while you get tired of hearing the same songs over and over, may end off with one of the single's other songs.
'W-Watanebe' will be sharing the cover of the new issue of Young Jump, it'll be their first cover in over two years and the magazine is coming out tomorrow and some advance pics from the site.
Risa is such a massive fave of mine, for the last 2 1/2 years would say she's been my second biggest fave. But she's been such a bridesmaid as she's never once topped any of my lists yet on hindsight probably deserved to be #1 for 2019. So perhaps if I work a bit harder 2021 may finally be the year for her to top the yearly faves list, however also need her to carry her weight too. Plus in a year will be doing my second 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list. For now someone is running away with the honor of being my #1 of all time. But if there was one woman who I think could be a challenger it'd be Risa, I'd say she was about fourth at this point. But she has the potential to move up those three spots but would I really want that to happen?
This is Risa's 42nd solo post which is the most for any Idol the last three years. It's also her 80th overall so she just may be the next person to hit the one hundred post milestone. It's not a big deal when an Idol does that but in her case it will be as for the last three years almost all of her posts have been solo ones, this is her third so far this year. You wouldn't think so as she is an interesting young woman but Risa is such a quiet person and especially on Keya's variety shows. Have viewed a few recent ones but won't have any screenshots as she doesn't say enough even when the has the opportunity.
But two days ago she made her second appearance on "The Gift" mini show, say mini as they only last two minutes. Risa is the first member to be on it twice, the theme is to buy a gift for a very close friend. And that friend happened to be such a fave of mine and you viewers who was Neru though she didn't make an appearance. The location was the Belles Fleurs shop and you can see what the gift was. The short show is also a promo for the AEON Keya credit card, at the end the member makes sure all viewers see how they're purchasing their gift. Found the video is on YT so if you want to view the mini show just click on the link: The Gift
April 20th will be Risa's fourth anniversary with the Non-no magazine. Her pics for them are always so terrific, have some new ones today from their site but not as many as usual.
