Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The affable 'Asuka Saito post' #19....

The Nogi posts have been rather streaky this year, may have three or more posts in a week then three weeks with zero. This is the third this week and guess you could say we'll be in a minor busy period for the group as their next single will be coming out in two weeks so should be plenty of upcoming things. But while there has been a good amount of Nogi posts this year almost all have been solo posts which I actually prefer. However almost every one of those posts have been for one of seven members, one has left so you could say I'm down to six Nogi gals who will have posts though would have liked to have had a few more for at least one first generation member.

To date four current Nogi members have qualified for the yearly fave's list, one more more should hit the six post mark which is needed and one other member graduated some months back. So as you can tell the days of having a huge amount of Nogi posts is coming to an end but hasn't that been the case for every other J-Pop I've followed? Asuka just set a personal record as this is her seventh post of the year though it doesn't seem she's been as busy. Every member hasn't been as busy as there's been such a decrease in mag spreads and no group events or new Nogi TV shows. But just because you qualify for the list doesn't mean you'll make the top twenty and have been thinking of making the list sixteen favs this year. Obviously I do like Asuka quite a bit or I wouldn't be doing so many posts for her but just torn on whether she has what it takes to make that fave's list.

Not a large amount of new things for today as her las post was five weeks ago and that was for Asuka's 23rd birthday. But do have 55 new pics plus some oldies and also a preview of something coming up. August 8th was the exact date of her 23rd birthday, she hosted 'Showroom' that day but there's only two subpar videos on YT so will skip having one.

There's been a dozen Nogi members over the years who have had ten or more solo posts. Hate to tell Asuka this but her posts here are the most unpopular of any of the dozen and by a wide margin, wonder why that is? But in Japan Asuka is extremely popular and in 2018/19 won the awards for being the singer/Idol who appeared on the most magazine covers. But what a massive slowdown this year for them and wonder if it's been her decision? So just have an oldie spread for today which is a group one from the September 24, 2020 issue of Big Comic Spirits, there's a reason for it.

What I discovered yesterday was that the recaps for the "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" drama were never finished. That's because there was a four month gap from when the first three episodes and last three were done so figured why bother then. But did watch the whole series and had some screenshots in the member's posts. I thought it was a solid drama that would have been better with a few more episodes, it's based upon a manga and anime which I haven't read or viewed. The drama aired in the Spring of 2020 and there was also a film that came out on September 25, 2020.

The subs for the movie were just done about a month ago but wanted to wait until I finished four dramas before viewing the film. Those shows are done and began on it earlier today, it's 110 minutes long and watched the first third. So what I'm planning on doing is having a pair of posts for it and no choice on that as there may be 140+ screenshots! These are some from what I've viewed and at first is a bit of a recap on what took place when the Eizouken club was formed but there's been new footage added in. After the first half hour the story continues on from where the drama ended, the posts will take a while to write up but hopefully will be done by Sunday.

Let's get to some new Asuka pics and have some fine group card ones which are from the 'Always With You' and 'NogiKoi' collections.

Asuka was the host of the 'Harry's English Class' radio show for five years but left it at the end of March. But she will be the co-host of a new variety show that begins in two weeks. So while no new mag spreads do have some fine modeling pics from the Bis site.

We're almost at the end, while a good amount of new pics not too many different activities. On September 4th Asuka attended the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and she's appeared at just about every one the last four years. The show took place at the Saitama Super Arena, no audience was allowed but it was streamed live. Makes me wonder why no audience was allowed as Nogi's Summer tour just ended two days ago and they certainly must have performed to over 100,000 fans. This stroll was on the 'Lagua Gem' stage, the first of two strolls.

Asuka looked so much better during her second stroll which was on the 'Nagaoka' stage. While no new mag spreads for today Asuka will be in the next issue of Bis, following the pics is a super duper promo video for it.
