Nashiko Momotsuki: Who better to end a month off with?!

 

 It's not officially the last post for September and will see how things play out. Usually take the first or last day of a month off, if I can do a few posts tomorrow then will take Friday off, if there's zippo to post out will instead take tomorrow off. That's not a bad thing as I want to write up a review for the "Midnight" film which I just viewed and those take much longer than drama recaps. As far as dramas go good news for the special "Yodonna" shows Nashiko had the lead role in, more info further down. After a slowish stretch for Nashiko this could be a busy period for her coming up, no posts for seven weeks and now this is her second in four days, she may have three next month.

 Last year Nashiko finished in the ninth position on the yearly 'Top twenty faves' list, think that's a record for for a gravure model but Nashiko does so much more work than that. Beginning of August did a preliminary list for this year and she moved up to the fifth spot but in the back of my mind figured she would drop down to around ninth again. That's not going to happen as the two gals above her have done virtually nothing the past two months so there's an  excellent chance Nashiko will end up in the third position this year on the fave's list and who would have ever thought that? Had she been in a more dramas or attended a few more events she may have been in the running for this year's #1!!!!

 So with her last post just four days ago this may not be a large post but then again have close to forty new pics plus a few semi oldies that had never been posted before so there could be over fifty pics. Mentioned the "Yodonna" drama in the intro, it was a two episode spinoff series from the 'Mashin Sentai' series and that was the name of her character. In Nashiko's last post had some screenshots from the August 8th show which was subbed, the second special aired on September 12th. At the time of that last post it wasn't subbed and said I would wait a week or two to see if it happened so I could do posts for both shows.

 And like magic it happened as that second special was just subbed yesterday. So in about ten days will be doing a pair of recaps for the very mini series which was popular so wonder if any more episodes may be airing? Really hope so and it's Nashiko's first lead role in anything as she's been concentrating more on her acting career the last year, ever notice how gravure models tend to appear mainly in Sentai shows? Here's an oldie spread that had been missed for the 'Mashin Sentai' series that's from the April issue of Animage.

 Few of those above pics are from the photo shoot for a new mag spread that will end the post. Nashiko was a long time model for the Pivot Door site but stopped working with them about a year ago. But she's now back with them and these are some promo pics from the company announcing that news, her first regular modeling pics should be coming out soon.

 Nashiko's 26th birthday is coming up on November 8th, three days after her 25th she released her first regular photobook "Unfinished". So her birthday may be a perfect time to have the pics from the PB and here's a few from it that have never been posted before.

 Nashiko is always the cover girl these days for the magazines she appears in, she once again has the honor for the October 11th issue of Young Magazine but there's more pics than these....

 So while the spread was only eight pics there were fourteen 'bonus' ones at the mag's site. Those are these pics which will end the post and following them is a video of the photo shoot.
