Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mio Minato: An extremely overdue post....
This will be somewhat of a good sized post but going to try and make it a quick one meaning I'll try to keep my babbling to a minimum. This will be the fourth of four posts for today, have already written the first two up. So that makes three posts and don't know what the last one will be, could have a photobook but there's been enough lately and need to think of an alternative quickly! The title says 'overdue post' and could have done this two months ago but thought there would going to be many new pics at the time which was sadly not the case. Oh well, semi slow stretch for new happenings so having this in reserve ended up being a good thing.
Mio is not too popular here but I really like her so much, if I had to rank my current fave gravure models she'd finish in the third spot. But she is very consistent as none of her seven previous posts have had less than 425 views, then again none has had more than 560! Obviously it means Mio does have some fans here but not as many as I would have thought. But she is much more than a gravure model and what first made made me notice Mio was that she's also a cosplayer but hasn't had enough time lately to do as much of that activity.
Mio is also a member of the J-Pop group Babababambi which formed in March 2020. They've had a bunch of digital singles and an album, none have been huge sellers but they are a very fun group. Have their album which came out in August but it could be considered an EP as it has just nine songs and while I'm not a huge fan do enjoy their tunes.
Those bottom two pics are from an event held on Christmas day to promote their new single "Seven People Seven Colors". What would be better is to have a group post for Babababambi so I can introduce the members and have more group mag spreads and event pics. So will be doing that sometime in the future, soon as another event or group mag spread happens. This set is from the October 18th issue of Big Comic Spirits and there are some other hottish looking members. No video for the new single so here's the link to a song off their first album: "I Want You To Kiss" video
Now on to Mio solo pics and while not overly bodacious she gets my blood boiling! She posts some super duper Instagram pics, a smattering of them from the last few months.
Mio released her first photobook on November 17th and do recall it being in the top ten for sales it's first week out. The photo shoot took place in her hometown of Kyushu and also in Fukuoka, some dazzling promo pics for the book.
This spread is from the November 29th issue of WPB who I think published the book.... whew, hard to top that bottom pic....
Will be ending off with another WPB spread and their November 15th issue. Mio has had so many spreads for them and this was her first time as a cover girl. Lack of Mio gravure videos on YT but there one has been recently reuploaded, recommend viewing it before it gets deleted again.
