This will be a very simple post or at least compared to prior years, don't know why she's celebrating as Yui failed to make the top ten.... again! Last year this list was for a dozen women and in 2022 it contained sixteen, the reason for the lists being larger was that many more qualified for the yearly faves list. This year just seventeen did which is an all time low, the last two years .it had been 26 and 29, prior to that often thirty or more women had the six posts needed to qualify for the list. So sadly everything shrinking will be the new norm, not just lists but the overall amount of posts done as I think this year will have over eighty less than 2023. But have said because of that have been making the posts larger than ever, a post done these days is often twice the size of those done before 2020 so while there's fewer posts the amount of photos, news and info has increased.
#10.... Iori Sagara, her 23 posts had an average of 499 views
Those 23 posts led the pack and there was no contest as number two was seven posts behind! But that didn't help out Iori as much as you would think as I've noticed once a gravure model gets to having more than fifteen posts readers tend to get tired of those posts as they do look too similar so the vies for the posts tend to dwindle. And that was the case for her plus I did grow weary of doing posts for her and perhaps she realized that too as there's been so few posts the last four months but now I am missing doing them. She made the list in 2023 with an average of 532 so she dropped slightly.
#9.... Kanami Takasaki, had an average of 532 views for her eight posts
This was the second woman I talked about above who did have the six posts needed for the fave's list yet wasn't eligible. For of the eight posts six were of older magazine spreads, photobooks, events, etc. from 2021-2023 and just two were for 2024 activities. Which did surprise me for one reason that I finally introduced Kanami this year is that she's always been extremely busy but after May of this year did so little and that was a trend for most women, still can't figure out why that was.
#8.... Nashiko Momotsuki whose ten posts in 2024 had an average of 615 views
That's a huge difference between the ninth and eight positions but by far the largest was between second and first. Nashiko has always been popular here but that started to wane in 2022 and last year her average dropped all the way down to 550. So 615 is an increase of over 10% so she has regained a few fans or perhaps has some new ones, she's had a solid start to the 2025 'Nao Year' as she already has two posts.
#7.... Kisumi Amau had an average of 694 for her eleven posts
This was a nice surprise and glad to see her finally get popular here as I've been a fan of Kisumi for close to four years. This was her busiest year ever as far as gravure modeling goes and could she be going out with a bang? For she did hit the age of 28 in August and you seldom see gravure models do that kind of work when they hit the age of thirty though the above woman is 29.
#6.... Miyu Kishi, her six posts for the year had an average of 736 views
This was the biggest surprise of the list, not for the position but for the fact she made the top ten! However I was so pleased that she made the cut for I like Miyu immensely and obviously that goes for you viewers too as her figure does defy the law of physics plus she's the shortest woman I ever posted about. She didn't make the fave's list but would have if there were more than six posts, once again there were so few of them for a BababaBambi member after June. In an odd twist the last three positions have featured women from the Familia agency whose gravure models and J-Pop Idols are hotter than any other agency!!!!
#5.... Miku Tanaka had sixteen posts for the year that had an average of 772 views
Before I began to figure out the averages thought Miku would be the first woman to be #1 on my fave's list and this one. But as I was doing the stats realized that wasn't to be though 772 is a darn good average and the problem was.... her posts were way too consistent! For the link above to that book was her only post to have over a thousand views as almost all were between 700-800. However have a strong feeling that average will increase next year for on January 1st will be posting her second photobook, there were two versions so will have the other on March 1st. Photobooks are extremely popular here so usually when someone has one in a year it helps their averages out so much, she and number two didn't have books which makes their averages so much more impressive.
#4.... Nene Shida, she had eleven posts for the year that had an average of 868 views
Did say above for #10 that many posts isn't always a positive, right around a dozen for a gravure model is a solid figure and speaking of figures who can top hers?!!!! No women to me as Nene is my all time gravure model and has held that title for over two years, she's had more posts than anyone else since December 2020. In those four years she's made this list every time and had a very nice increase in views this year as her average went from 745 in 2023 all the way up to 868!!!! That was the largest increase for any woman and 2025 also promises to be a terrific year as her third photobook will be coming out on Valentine's Day.
#3..... Miku Kanemura had an average of 880 for her nine posts
The battle between fourth and third was the closest, what a difference there will be though for the final two positions. Miku's average was almost the same compared to 2023 as it just dropped by seven views and what's impressive is that she had no regular photobook this year. Only three current J-Pop Idols qualified for this and the faves list this year, am wondering if any will in the future because I am weening off them and she's been my #1 Idol the past two years.
#2.... Kasumi Mori had eight posts which averaged 996 views
When I introduced her back in March knew she would be popular but not at this level but it is very pleasing to see. For I really, really like Kasumi and she was fifth on the fave's list, it would have been much higher but like so many others kind of disappeared in the second half of 2024. So I've been missing her and sure you viewers must be too but have a feeling she's like some other women I post about whose activities are a bit streaky or at least things that make for interesting posts.
#1.... Konoka Matsuda had an average of 1,250 views for her six posts
There was no contest for who the most popular woman of the year was and that's usually been the case every year I've done this list. Did say having a photobook makes a huge difference and it did for her but even without the book her average would have been 1,055 views a post so she still would have been number one. There are many women who you viewers and myself really like immensely, not sure who my overall #1 would be for this top ten list but am leaning towards number three with Konoka not being far behind. Not sure why but have a feeling se may be jumping ship soon from Hina, their stability was better than any other group for many years but not so these days.
