Thanks for checking out the posts in this series which has now been going on for eleven months and these posts have been receiving so many more posts than I could have imagined. Not as many as a Maria post which is very understandable and it does get tough typing when you have photos such as the above staring you in the face! Older drama posts were getting popular, a decade ago they were getting 125+ views but as the years went on the majority were getting double that amount. But they were taking so long to write up, especially Korean dramas, so started this series to give mini reviews. These kinds of posts are now getting well over 300+ views so you readers must be enjoying these posts and also the gals who begin off the post! One thing I would like to see are comments from you readers whether it's a recommendation, your thoughts on a movie I reviewed or whatever. One other reason for this series was to hear more from you viewers but that's one thing that hasn't worked out.
A goal was to have two of these posts a month but for August think there will be four though that may not be easy to do for most months. For today will have the final season for an American series and I love it so much it's my second time viewing it. Then will have at least two movie reviews, have watched one which was a classic Italian thriller from 1960 and that country had so many terrific horror flicks back in ancient times! After that unsure what else will be in this post, am writing this above section up in August 11th. Should I watch one more film and then the final thirteen episodes of the "Gilgamesh" anime? Or should I put that on hold and instead have an extra movie review or two? Or should I watch a few episodes of a Korean drama for I have so many in my cache, their TV series are the best but it's hard to talk about those series in 3-4 paragraphs. That's why it'd be nice to hear from you viewers and is there anything I could be posting about that I've neglected or are things fine with the current format?
EDIT: Made my decision and what I decided is at the bottom of the post, instead of reviewing 3-4 movies just have two and the final thing is one of the two series mentioned.

Now on to this post's American series but as mentioned will have another at the bottom. This first show is the second I've completed in five weeks with the other being the fifteen season series "Supernatural". Will say that's been the most enjoyable American series I've seen though "Gunsmoke" may be my favorite show but the best overall series, to me, would have to be "Person of Interest" that had 103 episodes over five seasons. It easily could have had more but sadly GREED prevented that, not from the actors or staff but the network that it aired on and the production company. I won't go into details as there's plenty to read about why the show didn't continue and because of that situation this last season was a tad rushed as it only had thirteen episodes. But it did end on a high note and this last season was much darker than the previous four, there was much more action in this final shortened season.
**** This was the second time I've viewed the entire series for that's how much I love it and will there be a third watch in the future? Before I get to the mini recap there are two negatives but one isn't about the series. This show's special features were just so-so and the worst of the five season's features was this final one as what they had was a bit scant but the boxset was much lower in price than most other shows. My one negative about this last season was how often I would roll my eyes as our heroes got out of every jam, even when it was a two on fifty battle against elite Secret Service agents or other forces a combination of the main characters Reese, Fusco, Root and Sameen would always come out on top. The way they defeated the 'bad guys' was too hard to believe at times, can understand not wanting to kill off the main leads but those melees could have been done in a more believable way though near the end three of the cast pictured in the first pic below were slain and did that prevent a possible sequel?
Above is the boxset I purchased, the special features could have been better but the set wasn't too expensive and overall the packaging was decent. Also right above are four links to the posts where I gave mini recaps of this tremendous series. There's not enough space to discuss everything so skimming through those posts will help you understand the series better and as you may have noticed reviews these days are smaller which makes them easier to read. EDIT: Am now back and took a bit of time off for you to view those posts and sure you enjoyed them! You had to notice the plot/storyline was perhaps the first one for an AI machine and those may become more common in the future. After the terrorist attack in 2001, along with other possible ones that could have been extremely tragic, the American government wanted a program to help them detect any future attacks or terrorist plans that were in the works. In stepped the team of Harold Finch(also many other last names) and his business partner Nathan Ingram who was killed by a government bomb in 2009. It was mainly Harold who designed the program that could take seemingly insignificant data and determine if the clues led to a possible attack against America, against all odds the program was a success. Harold had given the program a very simple name of The Machine and while the government just cares about the details of possible terrorist attacks the machine will spew out numbers of every citizen who is in danger. The government considers most numbers irrelevant but Harold didn't and the story of this drama was of Harold's team helping out your average person in the NYC area. The American government uses one form of the program, Harold and his team use a different variation of The Machine and something like that can't go undetected forever and that's the main story of this final season.
Along the way an even more powerful Machine was built by a shady organization named Decima who is controlled by an older British man Greer who was once an MI-6 agent. This new program is called Samaritan and the American government is now using it to thwart terrorist possible attacks and it seemingly has helped the country out with so many other problems. But at a steep cost as there's now zero privacy in the U.S. for Samaritan is keeping track of everyone and in the coming decades the program and Decima will be controlling the minds of all Americans! Only Harold's team is aware of Samaritan's dangers so destroying this threat to all is the main goal of his team but also to keep The Machine safe for it's the only thing standing in the way of Samaritan, Decima and Greer from ruling America. The Machine was partially destroyed at the end of season four but Harold was able to move the main memory and hard drive of it to his underground HQ which is an abandoned subway station. By the third episode The Machine was up and running, Harold is such a master with technology but so wasn't someone else on his team. That's Samantha Groves aka Root who is close to being Harold's equal plus she's one unbeatable fighter. She was invaluable in helping restore The Machine, there were some kinks but it was online by the third show and working normally by the sixth episode. Also on the team is John Reese who is the best fighter I've ever seen on a TV show but he is quite intelligent, his background is of being with the Army, CIA and one other government agency. Also in the team is Lionel Fusco who is a homicide detective with the NYPD, he's come so far since the first episode when he was a dirty cop and is now a key asset to this unnamed team. To protect his identity from Samaritan John is also a detective for the police and has been Fusco's partner for a while but they did have a falling out during this season.
Another excellent fighter is Sameen Shaw who had been kidnapped by Decima in the fourth season. That's because the actress who plays her, Sarah Shahi, had a baby and that's how she was able to take a leave from the show! Halfway through this season Sameen escaped from Decima's prison which was in South Africa and how she did so made me roll my eyes endlessly! With her return the team is close to full strength but Samaritan and its army are quite powerful, five against thousands is seemingly impossible odds but not to our heroes and while they often won too unbelievably they were such exciting battles. With only thirteen episodes compared to it's usual 23 of course some things, such as the ending, had to be a bit rushed but all in all I think things worked out well but sadly a sequel or season six will probably never happen. The Machine did eventually overcome the strength of Samaritan and naturally Harold plus his team were also major factors in that. On a saddish note at the end of episode ten Root was killed by a sniper while driving a vehicle but the actual target had been Harold. But Root didn't disappear completely as Root was the only one who could communicate with The Machine, she did so with telepathy and don't ask me how! After her death The Machine began to use Root's voice to talk with Harold and being able to talk with his creation helped out immensely in defeating Samaritan. Time was of the essence in the final two episodes as Harold, John, Lionel and Sameen only had 24 hours to destroy Samaritan before it began it's deadly yet unknown assault at taking over the world and no need to tell you who came out on top!!!!
Final segment and guess the last for the series but there is one more thing after the below season five photos. It's impossible to explain enough details or what happened in this season as I'd need another forty paragraphs but after reading this and the links above you should have a good enough overview of this series. Which ended on a high but somewhat sad note but the Earth was saved thanks to The Machine and Harold's team. The Machine, with Root's help and voice, developed a virus named ICE-9 that could disable Samaritan forever but it's main hard copy was located eighty feet below the bottom floor of the NYC Federal Reserve building. Harold and Reese were able to raid the place and Harold thought he one-upped his now close friend in stealing the hardcopy while locking John in a vault. Harold had been shot during this raid but was able to escape and make it to a rooftop where he thought a Torus antenna was located, he was mistaken because he too had been one-upped by his mate Reese! Harold is a genius but only an average chess player because he can't look enough moves ahead, Reese could and ended up going on a suicide mission to save the world. From the next rooftop Reese waved to Harold who realized he had been duped and it was Reese who had the Samaritan hard drive and ICE-9 virus in his briefcase. The mission was to insert the virus in the antenna which would send it to a satellite, in turn all of the beams sent back to Earth would disable any computers or machines with the Samaritan program. This suicide mission worked as Samaritan was no longer a threat but in the process the Decima agents shot and killed Reese though his mission was a success and bet no more than five people knew he saved the world.
Need one more paragraph and in the end Harold reunited with his one time flame Grace who thought he had died six years before. The series ended with Sameen Shaw walking down a NYC street with the team's dog Bear when a payphone rang, that's the signal The Machine uses. When Shaw(bottom pic) answered it she was given the number of a new person to save and it had been set up for a possible continuation which will probably never happen. So that wraps up another series for me and I will give this show my highest recommendation of any movie or TV series I've viewed. If you enjoy suspense, intrigue, action, double crossing, conspiracies, likable characters and interesting stories then this is a must watch series and I don't know if there are any other series in this vein. Would think so but doubt if those shows are close to the level this series was and next year it'll get a third watch from me! Though at times it could be unbelievable how our heroes escaped a jam they weren't always successful. For instance the main characters of Carter, Root, Elias, Reese and a few other minor ones died along the way and because of that it could be a reason why there was never a TV movie or short season six. After the photos is a promo video for this final season which aired in May and June 2016.
What I'm going to miss so much is watching Amy Acker on the screen, she's the first and only American woman I've given a rating of a 10/10 to! I've seen plenty of dazzling photos of her plus a few guest appearances on other dramas but would like to see Amy in another series but it'd be impossible for any others to compare to "Person of Interest". She did have the lead female role in the 2017-19 series "Gifted" and I'm unsure of that show. Some viewers really enjoyed it while others hated it, anyone reading this watch the show?
To me Root, whose real name was Samantha Groves, carried the first ten episodes of this final season. Root is so close to being as intelligent as Harold Finch and if it wasn't for Root The Machine could never have been rebuilt and saved the planet! At the end of the tenth episode a sniper was gunning for Harold while in a vehicle with Root. She was driving and the second Root swerved the sniper fired so instead of Harold being hit it was Root who died shortly after and that was such a depressing moment for Harold, Reese, Shaw and Fusco. But Root wasn't entirely dead as The Machine began to use her voice communicating with Harold so Root was still a main character though only her voice but Amy has such a pleasant and soothing voice. So this could be it for talking about Amy at this blog but I'm hoping that won't be the case, below are more pics from the show and she was 39 in age when this fifth season aired. Root was also such an elite fighter, she was an ace marksman plus knew Judo, after the pics is the scene when Root was shot by the sniper.

Now on to three two movies and a drama which are all in the horror vein and by now you know those are my favorites. This first movie is one of the most known Italian movies of all time in America which is from 1960 and titled "Black Sunday" though also had the title of Mask of Satan. What's hard to believe is that I had never seen this movie before though I am a fan of the director Mario Bava. Have seen five of his other films and his 1963 classic "Black Sabbath" could be my top horror film of all time! This was his first time being a solo director and there were some scenes that did remind me of "Black Sabbath", before this film Bava was a noted cameraman and did some of that work in this film. Have noticed in the 1960's and 70's there were no boundaries when it came to appearing in European movies, actors from England, Germany, etc. would be in Italian or Spanish films and the opposite happened frequently too. In this movie the soon to become horror star Barbara Steele had her first starring role and more on her coming up, that's Barbara above. The setting for this movie was the region of Moldavia which is in Romania, the year was 1630 for this opening scene when a pair of Demons were facing an eternity in hell! Those are the first six screenshots below when the witch and vampire Princess Asa Vajda was sentenced to death by her brother Griabi, so wasn't Asa's lover and demonic partner Igor Javutich. This opening scene worked so well as being filmed in B&W made it seem so much eerier, that mask in the fifth screenshot was hammered into the faces of Asa and Javutich which was kind of gruesome for an older movie.
Javutich was buried in the ground and soon after Asa's ashes would be put in a coffin and then entombed where there was no chance of her coming back to life. However a sudden downpour prevented Asa from being burnt at the stake and instead her masked body was buried in the tomb, she vowed revenge on her brother Griabi and her entire family before being put to death. Flash forward two hundred years and a pair of scientists/professors were traveling through Moldavia on their way to a conference in Moscow but a wheel had fallen off their stagecoach. The older one's name was Choma Kruvajan while his younger assistant's name was Andre(j) Gorobec, both characters were important in the story. While the wheel was being repaired the pair entered a tomb, there's plenty of screenshots below of it and unknown to them it was at the back of a huge mansion. Andre wasn't too interested in the dreary tomb but his mentor Kruvajan certainly was, to his shock he found the tomb of Princess Asa and knew a bit about her sordid history. He removed the coffin's lid and her body was still intact after two centuries but then an incident occurred which turned out to be tragic. A bat flew by and Kruvajan repelled it away with his walking stick but in the process broke the seal over Asa's body and also damaged the Cross that was supposed to ward off evil spirits. The worst thing to occur was that Kruvajan had cut his hand and a few drops of blood dripped upon the mask of Asa, Andre returned and said the stagecoach was ready to go so the pair left the tomb though would be visiting it again.
When they left the tomb they met a young woman with a dog and she was checking out what the noise was around the family tomb. Her name was Katia Vajda, a descendent of the Princess Asa and was the splitting image of her, Barbara Steele played both Asa and Katia Vajda. In the present day(1830's) the Vajda family still lived in the same centuries old mansion but it was starting to decay for the family's fortunes were dwindling. Living with Katia was her brother Constantine, their father and the butler/valet/servant Ivan. I'm only going to have one more paragraph after this so let me zoom through the movie but the screenshots and trailer should fill in anything I omit. By now we're at the 25 minute mark of this 86 minute movie and for an older film there was a lot of action and suspense. Those drops of blood which fell from Kruvajan's hand upon Asa revived her, it gave her enough power to somehow unearth the grave of her lover Javutich and bring him back to life! While this was going on Katia's father was having a mild panic attack as he's had the feeling doom is about to descend upon the family, with no doctor in town Kruvajan was summoned to come to the mansion and tend to him. Which didn't fully happen as Javutich killed the driver and took his place, Kruvajan had no idea it happened and he was brought back to the tomb where Princess Asa was! Soon the doctor was about to become the first victim of the vampire Asa in two centuries, she consumed enough of Kruvajan's blood to fully revive her. Of course that also meant Kruvajan became a vampire, when he tended to the elder Vajda he became his first and only victim.
The following day Kruvajan's assistant Andre arrived at the Vajda castle and was smitten immediately with the daughter Katia who he only seen for twenty seconds the day before. Good timing on his part as Princess Asa's master plan is to possess the body of her descendent Katia as the body Asa currently has is well over 200 years old! Of course the spirits of vampires can live forever, it appeared the lovers Asa and Javutich would be reunited and that may mean the end of humanity in Moldavia! In most movies the hero is usually the young and handsome man, in this case it was too as Andre finally realized what had happened at the Vajda mansion/tomb and how a catastrophe was right around the corner! With the help of Katia's brother Constantine Andre was able to kill his mentor Kruvajan by driving a stake through his heart. Andre was also able to prevent the ceremony of Asa possessing Katia from completing, what also prevented the rite from finishing was the Cross Katia wore around her neck. One other person was aware of the dire situation who was the village priest Father Antonio, Andre had gone to the padre for advice. While Andre was battling it out with Asa and Javutich in the tomb arriving was Antonio along with some villagers carrying torches. Asa tried to come off as being Katia but it didn't fool Andre, the villagers lit Asa's skeleton body on fire along with Javutich's so now there should be no way the demonic lovers could ever come back to life! Slightly more than three paragraphs wasn't enough to explain everything but gave the highlights of what took place and these mini reviews are more of an overview of what took place and not a play by play of everything that happened. This is a film I will be watching many times over as it was better than I had imagined, most older films aren't as eerie, suspenseful and action packed as this one was so will recommend it and this was the best film that I had never seen before in a many months. Below the screenshots is a trailer and will be having many more Italian horror flicks in the future. Sure some will be ones that Mario Bava directed and have a mini section below for the film's star Barbara Steele.
The bottom photo above was from the "Black Sunday" movie but the other four sizzling pictures weren't and once again will introduce you readers to a woman you may have never heard of. That's Barbara Steele who had the lead roles in the above film as she played dual characters. Barbara is an English woman who born four days after Christmas in 1937 and will be hitting the age of 89 this year! She's one of the first ever famous 'Scream Queens' but though she hailed from England she found her fame in Italy as from 1960-66 she lived there and had the lead role in about ten films and appeared in a few others. On occasion Barbara returned to the UK in that period to appear in movies and in 1967 made her home again in the once Great Britain. It's hard to describe Barbara's looks, she doesn't seem to be as attractive as other women but she has this unique aura about her which made her so alluring.
In the future you'll be seeing many more of Barbara's films, she continued having largish roles until the late 1970's but I'll just be featuring her 60's flicks. She does do the occasional acting role these days and also has been the producer for a few TV movies after 1980. I don't know much about the American "Dark Shadows" series that ran from 1966 to 1971 but it's one I would love to watch. Have seen a few photos from it plus some videos on YT, bring that up for Barbara had the perfect look to be on the original series and she was in the mini twelve episode remake done in 1991. Below are more screenshots of Barbara from this classic movie, it was her first ever Italian movie and as the saying goes The Rest is history! Will spread out the reviews for Barbara's films and some that you will be seeing here are "Nightmare Castle" and "Terror Creatures from the Grave", both are from 1965 and from late 1966 "An Angel for Satan" which was her final Italian movie. After the frightening screenshots is a trailer for her 1964 movie "Castle of Blood" which I've never seen but do have it and that may be up next for a Barbara film.

No Vincent Price in this movie but I did like that photo and soon enough you'll be seeing plenty of his films. The same goes for Christopher Lee for I also reviewed another Dracula movie of his in the last post for this series. Think he made seven in all, this film came out in 1970 and in the next three posts think I will review his last three Dracula films, one came out in 1970 and the other pair two years later. All were produced and released by the Hammer studios/movie company and no one released more horror movies than they did from 1955 to the early seventies. The woman above is Linda Hayden, you'll see much more of her in the below screenshots and she had the main female role in this movie. Linda was just seventeen at the time but could have passed for a woman five years older and doesn't she look so savory to a Vampire.... or a regular man?! You may also be seeing more of Linda in the future as she did star in many 1970's British horror films but oddly was also popular in comedies. Linda did disrobe often in her films and she looked too good to be true, she didn't appear in many movies after the 70's but did star in quite a few TV series. If I do review another film she starred in will have a segment for her and let's get to the review which will only consist of three paragraphs. Try to keep reviews at four of them but have been getting into the habit of having the first paragraph feature trivial facts and about the cast which is not a bad thing and at times could be more interesting than the actual review.
In the last post reviewed Lee's 1966 film "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" which was much better than I expected though Lee didn't appear until the halfway mark of the movie and never uttered a word but was such a scary presence. This movie was similar as Lee didn't appear until the thirty minute mark of this movie was lasted for 95 but least this time he did say a few words. The setting is London circa 1885 though that doesn't matter all that much as much of the film was set in a tomb. When the film opened we witnessed an Englishman in Eastern Europe named Weller who was walking along the road and was lost. He had been thrown from his stagecoach as the fellow passengers thought this man was trying to hoodwink him, the year was 1882. It was a short scene and in the first screenshot below is what Weller witnessed within twenty seconds, Count Dracula spewing blood from a stake driven into his heart! The Vampire quickly withered away and Weller picked up the monster's cape, pendant with his name engraved on it plus a vial of blood which over three years turned into red ashes. Now it's three years later and in my previous post for a British movie had noted how stuffy Englishmen were a century ago, before that too I bet. The story revolves around three older men whose young children get dragged into the demonic events which are about to befall this section of London. In the fifth screenshot shows who the men are, starting from the right is the meekish man Samuel Paxton, he has a daughter named Lucy and a son Paul who is infatuated with the woman Alice Hargood(Linda). Her father William Hargood is next to Paxton and the third man is Johnathon Secker, he has a a 25 year old son named Jeremy. The fathers are all rich and the man on the far left is Felix who owns a brothel in London's East End which the trio visit on the last Sunday of each month. For a little hanky panky as the middle aged gents are bored with their family lives and are also getting bored with these monthly excursions.
But an odd incident happened at this Brothel as in walked the man who is in the eighth and ninth screenshots plus a few below that. His name was Lord Courtley and the women swoon over him, so much they pay the Lord to date them(!) and he's never worked a day in his life. This younger man really piqued the interest of the three older gents and what was Courtley's secret? That he wouldn't divulge but if the men wanted to shake up their lives he would show them how though the cost would be high but that was no problem with this trio. Courtley brough the gents to an odd store run by the man Weller who was in the movie's first scene and had picked up the dead Dracula's cape, ring, pendant and blood which is now dried. Courtley told the three men.... Hargood, Paxton and Secker.... if they purchased these strange items he would perform the ritual they're for and the men's life will be changed forever.... but will it be better? The threesome didn't think so for while Courtley was doing this rite in an abandoned tomb/church they refused to drink the blood of Count Dracula, Courtley accused the men of being cowards and drank the blood to prove it was safe! Which it wasn't as Courtley writhed in agony, instead of helping the man the threesome kicked and beat him to death! That was an unexpected act as the three are usually so calm and collected, they fled the tomb but it was too late as a curse for their dastardly deed was abut to begin. For an hour later the dead body of Courtley began to transform, in an impossibility his body became that of Count Dracula!!!! It seems that Courtley was a servant to Dracula though we weren't aware of it until the Vampire arose. The servant had kept tabs over the abandoned tomb and guess he was waiting for the return of his Master, when Dracula was back to his powerful form he swore Courtley's death would be avenged!
Final segment and even if I leave out a few things the screenshots will help you follow the action. The curse Count Dracula has put on the three wealthy men is that they will be slain by their oldest child and of course he was around to help out. A Vampire can stare into the eye of a human and compel them to do an act and then forget about it. First off Dracula did so to Hargood's daughter Alice, with the demon watching Alice clobbered her father over the head with a shovel, Dracula said One Down! Paxton had two children, the youngest Paul was ga-ga over Alice and can't blame him. Paul's sister Lucy was slightly older and she was bitten by Count Dracula, of course she became a vampire and took care of her father, now the demon said Two Down! Lucy had been dating Secker's oldest son Jeremy, she bit him so of course he too became a Vampire and he finished off the curse by killing his father so now Courtley's death was avenged. That doesn't mean Dracula is just going to disappear and Alice was so jealous that Lucy was bitten by the studly Count and not her! That in turn made Paul jealous, in the final scene with the help of Alice he had trapped Dracula in that abandoned tomb which at one time had been a church. Dracula was strong but not powerful enough against all of the crosses in the church plus dawn was approaching and naturally all Vampires stay away from the Sun. Because of those two forces Dracula fell from a balcony onto an altar, Paul would have staked him but that wasn't needed as the Sun's rays were the end of Count Dracula.... again! Didn't realize it until now but with the next recap it'll be three things in a row with a Vampire being the main story and that was unintentional. These Hammer films and many others starring Lee aren't essential movies to view but these are the kind I enjoy the most, sure many others also share that opinion. This wasn't as good as Lee's 1966 film "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" but I enjoyed this film quite a bit and it was nice being introduced to the ultra kawaii and alluring Linda Hayden. Have three more of these Lee films of him starring as Dracula coming up but not right away, after the below screenshots is a trailer for the movie.
The good thing about being the 'boss' here is I get to make up my own rules(!) though there really aren't any for this ongoing "My Current Watches" series. Earlier in the post couldn't decide what TV show to view next and there were four possibilities, out of them think this was the best choice and what a must watch series this has turned out to be! Don't know if it can keep it up but through two seasons and 44 episodes this is close to being the best series I've ever viewed! There's still 129 shows to go so sure there may be a slip in quality as time goes on but as of now this truly is my most pleasant surprise of all time as far as dramas, movies, albums and photobooks go! Above are the two posts done for the first 33 episodes and recommend reading them as I'm hoping to have only two more paragraphs as this is such a long post though I have enjoyed writing it up and know it's quite interesting. Above is the bx set I have which was a good deal and compared to some other series I've viewed only the special features for "Supernatural" can top "The Vampire Diaries" and that does enhance a series when there's a lot of features that are informative. The trio above are the main characters though there are about ten of them, in the middle is Elena Gilbert who is seventeen in age and up until eighteen months ago was a normal teen. But the brothers Stefan(17) and Damon(24?) Salvatore moved into town which is Mystic Falls, Virginia and ever since then the town has been thrown upside down for the pair have been vampires since 1864!
Such as Rose who was a British vampire and hooked up with Damon but she was the victim of another werewolf named Jules and I was hoping that character would stay around for a while. At the conclusion of this second season these are these main vampires..... Daman and Stefan Salvatore, Caroline, Klaus, Elijah and possibly Anna but sure more will be turned!. Then there's the werewolf Tyler and he's the only one it to make it out alive by the end of this season but of course more of his kind will be appearing in Mystic Falls. Then there's the Witch Bonnie Bennett whose powers really grew in the second half of this season and was the reason there's some peace in Mystic Falls. There's also the character of Alaric Saltzman who is a normal high school teacher but has been helping out the vampires in town and for a while had been possessed by Klaus, there's also the sheriff Liz Forbes who is the mother of Caroline yet hates all vampires and has killed a few of them.... what's a mother to do? One huge positive about this series is that it's never been confusing for even one second considering how many characters and subplots there are so the writers and producers have been doing an excellent job and of course so haven't the superb cast. I had never heard of any of them until beginning this show and that's a reason I chose to purchase this boxset. So glad I did view this second half of season two immediately and in a few weeks will start on season three, am in a 'Monster' mood so guess a rewatch of 'Grimm" will begin and will talk about that in the next post for this series. This is the third post this month for that 'My Current Watches' series and with any luck will set a record if I can reach five, would help if I could somehow make these posts shorter. It's a long video but one worth at least skimming through and is after these photos. It features highlights of Caroline in this second season and as mentioned she is my favorite character. She's played by Candance Accola who was 23 in age for this season and she was in all eight seasons so will give a little bit of her bio info in all of the posts for this show and this was easily the largest role Candance ever had. This originally was probably a show aimed at older teens or slightly older but it's more of a show for adults as there's a lot of violence, gore and non-stop action!
