Gulp, if Nanami needs a hand with that mine are always available....
Sure many of you have heard the news of Mai F's impending 'graduation', really not going to comment on it yet as it won't take place until May or even possibly June as she'll be around to promo the group's 14th single. Kind of funny though how I've been saying recently that one thing I really like about their group is their stability, no one ever seems to leave and now in a span of three weeks two members have announced their graduation. Would think it means Mai's retiring from the entertainment field, she's popular but nearly enough to have any kind of solo career, besides the fans of the group hardly anyone has probably heard of her. To me though think of all the members Mai S. really has the only chance for a successful solo career but let's hope she doesn't have any ideas now that the other Mai is leaving.
Sure there will be many future posts about her leaving but let's wait until more details come out, like I said it may not happen for almost five months. A mish mash of things is what we have today, really not many things to post about but was going to take tomorrow off and didn't want to go two days without posting. Still is a very slow period for Japanese entertainment events but that'll be changing as the new Winter dramas will be starting up next week and sure there will be a few other happenings. One new mag spread today, kind of a slowdown on them the last few weeks and this set of pics is from the Winter issue of Girl Pop featuring Himeka, Manatsu and Ranze.
Some missed December group cards of Nanase.
Last new item is that on January 8th Mahiro, Marika and Rina held their 'coming of age' ceremony which Japanese women celebrate when they turn 20. May sound odd but the ceremony was held at the Nogi Shrine in Tokyo, the last few years other members have also had their ceremony there. Probably not a coincidence they chose that shrine, few pics from the event.
