Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Saki Nakajima: The extraordinary one day early 'Happy 25th birthday' post....

At one time used to have 3-4 birthday posts a month for my bigger faves but this may be the first one since October. Someone like Saki I just couldn't pass by and as a few faithful viewers know she was #1 on my 'All Time Top Twenty Faves List'. Hard to explain why but that top pic could be my fave of all time, there's just something so sultry about it which is so hard to explain.
When most Idols graduate or a group disbands it's difficult to post about the person(s). That's been kind of the case for the C-ute gals but four of them have remained busy though all of their activities often don't make for interesting posts. Saki is one who is quite busy but unfortunately most of her doings have remained under the radar. She still hosts her 'Nakky' radio show on Saturdays, she's been doing that for about seven years now. There's a few other new happenings which I'll get to as the post goes on but wonder what else she's been doing this past year or so....

Gulp, will refer all questions to my agent.....😳

Saki isn't the only mega fave of mine or C-ute member to celebrate turning a year older in this week, may have to have a post for her best mate.

Actually birthday #25 doesn't happen until the 5th but figured it was already the fourth over in Japan so I'm only one day early. Along with that above person who I'll try having a post for this week Saki has been the co-host of the "Furusato no Yume" travel and eating show that airs on TBS. These are from last week's show and someone certainly can chow it down!!!! Have a video at the bottom from a different show, this wasn't the only show she chowed down on!

Saki has been in five stage plays this past year though wish we could see her in a drama or film. Her last one was titled 'Jesus Christ- Radio Star" which ran from December 12th to the 24th. These are interview pics from the Hustle Press site that was promoting the play.

Actually Saki is appearing in yet another play that began on January 19th called "Devil and Angel", it'll be performed until March 3rd. These are more interview pics which are from the Walker Plus website for the play.

Hmmmm, still looking A++++ to me! Even a few more new pics with the first couple being from her Instagram site along with a few ex C-ute mates in some World Cup promo pics, no idea if the trio will be appearing in some sort of campaign for the event.

Have posted the pics from Saki's last two photobooks but never did for her 2011 PB "W-Saki". She was just seventeen when the book came out so decided not to post the entire PB but do have a few enticing pics here from it.

Can't have a post with a C-ute member and not have any group cards. Fairly sure these haven't been posted before, most are from 2014 and the group's 'Future Departure' tour while the final eight are for Saki's 21st birthday.

Bet I've viewed close to twenty C-ute concerts, what fun and enjoyable shows they had. What a shame it'll be if the quintet never perform another concert, have a feeling though it'll happen some day. Usually when I watch those concerts by eyes constantly focus on Saki, she was so animated at shows and also was the best talker between songs.

This is Saki's 98th post so there's little doubt she'll be the next person to hit the hundred milestone which hasn't happened in over a year. Think I may be able to have two more posts this month as there's plenty of older things to get to plus did leave out a few oddball newish items. Will end off with these dazzling pics, most are repeats though some are new for here and it's easy to see how Saki became my number one of all time.
