Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Yui Imaizumi: Few recent happenings....
Won't make any comments about the recent shakeup for Keya, will save it for a group post but who knows when that'll be as they've become very quiet lately which was to be expected. But got me thinking of what kind of center Yui may have been and wonder if she'll ever resume her musical career? To me the other half of 'Yui-chan' would make for a better center, this Yui would be fine but think slower paced songs are more suitable for her but then again she doesn't have a very long musical career to base that upon.
Have been noticing the past two months seems a core of ten gals are getting most of the posts, seems to many of my faves have been in hiding. Yui though has become such a big fave of mine and more so since she left Keya. This is her third post in five weeks and she should have at least two more coming up very soon. Will give a heads up for the final pics in this post which should send all of you(like me) running for a cold shower....
Yui has a film coming out in two weeks and it's a movie she has a large role in which is why you should see a post after it's premiere. She's also going to have the lead role in the 'Azimi' stage play which opens in March.
That'll be an interesting play as her height is just 154 cm and she's going to be battling men 30+ cm taller than she is.... and win! Yui is an exclusive model for the ar site but like most of their models just appears in every other monthly mag but do have some new pics from their site.
Last Monday and this upcoming one Yui has been in a special TV-Tokyo movie, she's in parts three and four but the series is much longer than that. For her appearance she did an interesting interview for the station which she talked a bit about what kind of man she likes but think it'll be a while until we hear any romantic rumors about her.
Just watched episode two of the 'Eren the Southpaw" drama but she was in only one scene so didn't take any screenshots. That above interview Yui also talked about her first film "Rolling Marbles" which is coming out on February 7th, knew nothing about it until earlier this month. It's a project from the Nylon Japan magazine and hope to have her spread in Yui's next post. It's definitely a women's movie as the story is of the three women you see below. And those pics are from it's first screening that took place on January 14th, there will also be a special screening next Friday.
Have a couple of sets of fabulous Yui pics to end off with. Seems she appears in the Weekly Shonen mag every month, quite often she's the cover girl and once again she had the honor for their February 6th edition.
Also have a few bonus pics from the mag's site.
Here's possibly the best news of the year as Yui was just chosen to be one of the new quartet of Peach John girls. They're a lingerie company and the first batch of pics came out this week along with a pair from her Instagram page. Any fan should be jumping for joy with this news and the first CM will be coming out on Wednesday. Will have it in Yui's next post and to end off have a short trailer for the "Rolling Marbles" film.
