Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: Their first transcendent 'Little bit of this and that' post for 2020!!!!
Busier last ten days for the group as they performed on four end of the year special music shows. Naturally in one of them the overrated and immature permanent center hurt herself again and for their final show someone else was the center. To me the group is so much more enjoyable when a different member becomes the center for a song, has worked so well for Nogi, AKB and SKE in the past so why can't Keya have different centers for their singles?
Oricon released their end of the year sales totals and Keya's only single of the year "Kuroi Hitsuji" was the fifth best seller, that's both good and bad. Of course it's good but it was their only single of the year and it did sell over 100,000 less copies compared to their previous single, perhaps many others are getting tired of the center? Did help that Nogi and AKB only released two singles each too or else Keya would have finished lower.
But on the bright side Hina46 had the positions eight through ten for their first three singles which is impressive and they sold close to two million copies. Just got me thinking Keya couldn't have made their record company or management as much money last year just having one single and didn't perform as many concerts as usual. Not trying to be too negative as I do enjoy their tunes, especially the B-sides, but 2019 wasn't a good year for them nor for a few other J-Pop groups as perhaps the genre is going through a bit of a transition.
Been wondering what's going to be in store for Risa this year? 2019 was so busy for her and I think it helped that Keya wasn't as busy as it allowed her to appear at more events and in mags. She had twenty solo and two pairs posts last year, sadly I can't see that happening again though I truly wish it could. Nothing is scheduled for her such as appearing at the next two TGC shows or anything else, love to see Risa make it to number one this year but that almost always means many posts. Will still have most of her pics in solo posts but do have some event ones near the bottom plus these from the Non-no site.
That bottom pic rates an A++++. Have a lot of many things for today and one thing I've rarely done this past year is to have blog pics. Recently there's been a lot of group ones so have some for this post Keya's group blog is called 'Diary'. Top two are of them with their 'sister' groups.
There's a 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show next Saturday but it appears only two members will be there while as usual about eight from Hina will be in attendance. One scheduled is Yui who I think now is my #2 fave member, will try to have a solo post for her after the show. Those screenshots are from a 'Sakamichi TV' special that aired in March, had those in a recent Nogi post. But will have others in her solo post plus more if she was in the second special show that aired two weeks ago.
Few more Yui pics which are recent ones from the With Online site.
A member who I've liked for a long time but didn't pay enough attention to is Shiori but have been noticing her much more recently. Will work on a solo post for her as she's been appearing in many more magazines and here's a few Keya cards for her.
Shiori has the first spread for today, she looks dandy in the pics though wish the set was larger which is from the January issue of EX-Taishu.
This is a rather huge set which is two spreads from the January 3rd edition of Young Gangan that has a trio of second generation members on it's cover. Also in the mag was Rika and Minami who we've seeing much more of recently and seems this pair often shares a spread together.
Yumiko looks fairly good in her solo pics in that above spread, she'll be turning 22 in June and will keep an eye out for her pics. Have two new pics from the AEON credit card site though there's no new Keya CM's for them. At the end of the post will have a video that hasn't been posted before, it came out in July for the company which is a shortish movie starring Yuuka.
Keya performed for the third time at this year's 'Kohaku' New year's Eve show which is the most viewed program of the year. On the show they did their 2017 single "Fukyouwaon" aka Discord which is a very good tune and was the theme to their 'Tokuyama' drama, we need another series from them. It's the 70th year the show has aired and on December 29th a bunch of members were present for an interview and to give a rehearsal performance. Plenty of pics from the event and also there's that AEON video at the bottom.
