Know there's only been one post a day lately and am still feeling the affects of being in the hospital two weeks ago. You wouldn't think writing up a post would be all that strenuous but it has been but luckily this has been a slower stretch for the women I like to post about. Had confidence that there would be no more graduations this year but sadly was wrong on that. As most fans know three days ago Mizuho announced she'll be leaving at the end of November, wasn't shocked that she was the next member to graduate but thought she would wait until next year. By her comments it appeared she had been thinking about it for a while and really not much more to say about it right now but will get more into it in future posts.
Keya's(Sakura) sixth single came out at the end of June so November seems like a good time for their next single and perhaps
Mizuho can have her first solo song on it as a farewell. Though there doesn't seem to be a lot going on with Keya in August this is their third group post of the month plus there's been a trio of solo member posts. Not a lot of different activities but they do add up to be over 120 new pics. Lets begin off with some photos from the Keya 'Diary' group blog and these are from their trip to Malaysia about two weeks ago for their
Japan Expo, I rarely post many group blog pics.
Keya's third tour ended in the first week of June, wish they were quicker releasing DVD's from their tours as we may not see a video of it until next year. There were some group cards that came out last month for the single, have eight members in this batch that have 3-4 pics. In order they go the first two generation members
Minami and
Fuyuka who I still think will be the final 1G member standing. Following that pair is
Marino and I have to admit her looks have improved more than any other member this year as she looks so oki doki! Up fourth is
Akiho who will be turning 24 in less than two months, after her is
Hono whose pics led off this post. Then we have the two
Rina's from the second generation who I would love to do posts for but that's never worked out, bringing up the rear is the group's other
Yui.
No new magazine spreads for today which is no surprise as there's been such a shortage of them for the members from the first two generations, So let's go back in time for this set I had forgotten about and sure most others have too. It features the usually unsmiling(!)

Since February have started a month off with one of two posts that feature promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game so in reality this could be the 22nd group post of the year. Those promo pics were late in coming for August as some finally came out five days ago but there's still many members missing, For today will have eight member's pics for the game and each have four photos, will have two batches. Leading off as usual is Yui, her graduation which I hope doesn't happen for a while will hit me harder than anyone since Nanami left Nogi in 2017. Up next is the soon to be leaving Mizuho who is followed by her first generation mate Fuyuka and the final gal for this batch is my #1 second generation member Rena.

Have been falling behind on doing these mini recaps for the group's 'Soko' variety show. Was going to skip the July shows and start with the ones from August as to catch up but the subbing team is also behind as no show for the last six weeks has been subbed. So for today have a recap for episode #140 that aired on July 9th and it was a decent show so glad I didn't skip it, the show was part one of a two part challenge so that recap will be in the next group post which should be in eight days though sooner would be nice. Theme to this challenge was Keya's 'Academic Rating' where they find out who the smartest and dumbest members are, it's been at least twenty months since this last challenge. Say that because the lowest ranked member for the last challenge was
Rika with
Aoi being crowned as Keya's smartest member, both have been gone for over a year. In these kinds of challenges the newer members tend to have an edge as many are still in high school or have just graduated so most subjects are still fresh in their minds.
There were five tests worth twenty points each or a grand total of 100 points for all five, the average score was 51 points which was an increase from 47 when this challenge was last held. Hate to say it but the first generation members are no Mensa's as none finished higher than 14th place! The screenshots below go in order of the action so you can scroll through them to follow the action. There were five academic subjects with the first being Japanese Language, the members averaged 11/20 however Yu proved how intelligent she is as she got a perfect score. No perfect score in Social Studies as Rei and the 3G member Airi tied with a 16/20 score, the average was 9/20!!!! Third test was for Math and with a perfect score was Reina who wasn't in the studio at the time as she was dashing there from her university but did make it by the end of the show, the group average was 10/20. Science was the fourth test and Karin came out on top with a score of 18/20, the group average was 8/20 so that was their worst subject. Final exam was for English and there were a pair or perfect scores from the newbies Yu and Yuzuki, this Keya's best subject as the group average was 12/20. Near the bottom of the screenshots the top fourteen scores were revealed, coming out on top with 81/100 was Reina who truly is one smart woman. In the next show the top six scores will participate in another quiz and that you'll be seeing in the next post. We'll also learn who will be crowned as Keya's.... Biggest Dummy!!!!
