Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: A little of this and that for 2016 #41....
Should be a slow couple of weeks for the group but a slow period for Nogi still means at least a few posts each week. Be a nice calendar above for your desktop, next post will have a 2017 calendar but it won't be for the group. Nogi appears at all of the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' shows and will be making an appearance at their next one which will take place on March 25th.
That will also be the first time the group will be at one of their shows sans Nanami, perhaps I'll start a 'graduation countdown' once it gets to be about thirty days before the sad event happens. Back to TGC and the group or at least ten members are doing a campaign in January for their Shibuya 109 collection. They'll be various Nogi things for sale at their flagship store which is naturally in Shibuya such as calendars, posters, mugs, etc.
Here are the ten member's who are involved in the campaign, sure you all know their names by now with Mai and Hinako having the honors from me with the best two pics.
Have another pair of mag spreads but will save them for now as very few come out in Japan during this time, Mai looking mighty fine in the February issue of Ray.
The group is still performing "Sayonara no Imi" on many music shows, needs a big burst in sales to hit a million as it needs to sell about 70,000 more copies. On the 23rd Nogi did the song on the annual 'Music Station Super Live' show, Nanami didn't look too enthused, then again it's not the most happiest of songs but that smile at the end is just too much....
One last thing is that five members have been doing a series of CM's for Meiji Milk Tea. There was a promo event for it at the beginning of the month and posted the first CM in that post, will eventually have them all and here's the one for Himeka.
