Looking ultra superb at this year's 'Nikkan Sports Film Awards' ceremony though the way she wowed us last year is kind of unbeatable.
At last year's show Kasumi won a best actress award for her role in the "Biri Girl" film. That award was well deserved as that was a really fine movie and one of the best for 2015. What doesn't make sense to me is that this year she won a Newcomer award, can't figure that one out. Kasumi has been in films since 2011 and has had the lead in quite a few of them, why a Newcomer award?
A viewer did explain that process once which made sense but for Kasumi to win this award a year after a best actress award baffles me. Least she looked terrific at the event and it's been a while since we've seen her as she's been busy filming her asadora drama "Hiyokko" which starts in April. Should be seeing much more of Kasumi as she's the co-host of this year's NHK Koharu music show which airs on New Years Eve plus besides the drama she has four(!) films coming out next year. No video of the event but after the pics have a short making of video for her 2017 calendar.
