Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The 'Nanami Hashimoto post' #66....
No, certainly haven't forgotten about Nanami.... at least yet. Was just thinking could that happen next Summer or so when she starts to fade from our memories as it'll be at least four months after her graduation. Still not entirely sold on her retiring from show biz, after 5 1/2 years it's kind of hard to just walk away from that Idol lifestyle. Perhaps not that difficult but almost all Idols tend to move on to different things whether it's acting, singing solo, appearing on variety shows, etc. Don't know what Nanami's earnings have been but they must be quite good, figure at least $250,000 a year so where does someone find a job that even pays a quarter of that.
Just some ramblings as I haven't done any of them yet, we'll just wait and see what steps she takes next in her life as she's a smart enough gal so she should know what's best for her. First solo post in exactly a month, not as many activities lately but once the graduation date grows nearer sure we'll be seeing much more of her. Nanami's documentary series "Koisuru Bubgaku" has just wrapped up after six episodes, it's the second season of the show. So far haven't posted about it but do have the shows and will be doing that after her graduation so we can keep her in our minds for as long as possible.
February 20th is shaping up to be the busiest day in Nanami's life. On that day she'll be celebrating her 24th b-day, her graduation concert will sadly be held that night but the terrific news is that her second photobook is also coming out on that day. Think that above pic is an advance one for the PB, though she'll be graduating on the 20th wouldn't doubt if she stays a bit busy after that such as promoting the book and she may participate in one more hand shaking event. Nanami's first PB was okay but it could have been so much better, more along the lines of her mag spreads would make for a fine book as pics like this just make us....
Nanami made the announcement about her second photobook on this week's 'Girls Locks!' radio show though she didn't talk about her graduation. It was a 'confession week' as listeners called in and left messages for her on the show's answering machine and almost 10,000 calls were received. These pics are from this week and looks like she'll also be a host for January's third week.
There were two recent mag spreads with other Nogi members but very few solo ones these last few months but should be many upcoming promoting the new PB. This smallish yet terrific set of pics of Nanami are from the February issue of BLT.
Nanami's 'graduation gift' from management was being the center of the group's latest single "Sayonara no Imi". To date it's the best selling single for the group with sales of 923,000 as of last week, wonder who will take the lead for the song once she's gone? Few screenshots performing the song on the FNS Song Festival show which took place on December 14th, what we'll really miss is the pairing in the bottom two pics.
Some group cards for December plus an encore of her X-Mas cards.
This is one of the longer Nanami posts in many months. For the first seven episodes of the seventh season of 'NOGIBINGO' she didn't make an appearance but that finally happened on the eighth show which aired three weeks ago. The theme for the show was 'Wild Fantasy Request' and eight members took place on acting out a fantasy that a fan sent in. Nanami's was loosely called 'Spending an off day with my Senpai co-worker' and it was a fairly good segment. She has acted in a few dramas outside the group so wonder why she hasn't been thinking about moving on to an acting career or perhaps she is but hasn't revealed it yet.
