Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Manami Higa: (very)Few recent events....
Unfortunately the very part in the title is all so true but it's not often that there's enough of anything for a Manami post. Actually there isn't that much but there are some fabulous pics from a recent event that needed to be posted as she does have a good amount of fans here. Will also be doing more 'Code Blue' recaps soon as her character of Sae is expecting a you-know-what.
Manami used to have a very good blog through her agency and had also posted a lot of videos via them. That sadly stopped a few years ago though most of the videos are still on YT and all are worth a watch. Manami does have an Instagrammer account now, it is spelled that way as it's a slightly different site. Wish she would post more pics but the ones she does have there are naturally arousing.
On to the main reason for this post and how I wish there were so many more for her. On August 1st Manami was in Morioka which is in the northern part of Japan. On that date she was a special ambassador for their 40th 'Morioka Sansa Odori' festival, it's the largest taiko drum festival in the world but bet there aren't many outside of Japan.
Manami simply looked too good to believe but have said that many, many times about her. She does originally hail from Okinawa which is at the other extreme of the country. Plenty of captivating pics here from the event though there's no video of the festival.
