Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show pics with... Rika and Risa Watanabe!
Have mentioned often about having a 'pairs post' for this duo but this ends up being the first one. They are promoted as W-Watanabe quite often yet there's not as many pics of them together as you would think. Except for Akane and Yuuka there's not a lot of 'Keya pairs' yet but that may be changing soon. The twosome are part of the subgroup Aozora to MARRY, think that quintet should break out on there own. Did just say this was the first post featuring them together and think it may be the last one with comments like these....
Sigh, 46,000 rows back and still get noticed, sigh again. But wait, it appears one of the duo may be deserving of some upcoming posts regardless of her comment!
Surprisingly they were the only Keya members to appear at the 25th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Autumn/Winter show. Think Yui was invited but it appears she couldn't pass the rigorous kawaii test. Minami also had an invite which was withdrawn as her kawaii score was so high she would have overshadowed the other 100 models.
The show took place at the Saitama Super Arena which is where C-ute held their final concert three months ago. Shouldn't that logo above say No Watanabes No Life? Both Rika and Risa have appeared at many of these shows but it was the first time the pair had taken a stroll together, they may do so again at the 'Girls Awards' show in two weeks.
Besides being together they both also did a solo appearance, Risa was there representing Non-no. Rika was there for Larme and read that she really looked so shy once again while taking her stroll, seems like she's getting more shy as time goes on and the opposite should be happening. Plenty of fine pics from the event and following them is a short video of them solo and together but it's not long enough plus the quality is so-so at best though Billi has a better video.

Risa didn't look too pleased to see ya there haha. Should've went KAWARIMI NO JUTSU!! *poof*. Miona...she a pimp. That scarf thing tho that the two have looks good up close but from afar it looks kinda funky
ReplyDeleteThink I've heard the word 'funky' more times in the last week than I have in the last five years. That's good though as I may need to incorporate the word into more of my meaningless comments.
ReplyDeleteThe scarves did look nice on them, really liked Rika with her ponytails.
Same here those ponytails with the red look real nice
