Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Tsubasa Honda: Some recent news....
Was going to go back and post all of Tsubasa's happenings before July of this year. Kind of getting late now so ended up passing on it though there should be many upcoming posts for her. Tsubasa's next drama will be starting up in October, it'll be airing on NTV and is called "Okusama wa, Tori Atsukai Chui" though no exact date has been set yet.
Tsubasa also has the lead female role in a film coming out in December, details after this set of pics. She's been an exclusive model for Non-no since 2010, surprised she wasn't at yesterday's 'Girls Awards' show for them. Here's some really fine pics from their site since the beginning of August.
"Fullmetal Alchemist" is the first live action movie of this popular franchise, never finished the mangas but it was a good read. The film will be coming out on December 1st and will probably be a blockbuster, wouldn't doubt if there will a few sequels too.
In the film Tsubasa will be playing the role of Winry. On September 14th she was at a ceremony for a 'Fullmetal Alchemist' exhibit that opened in Tokyo and it's at the Tokyo Dome City Gallery. It'll be open until October 29th and then it's moving to Osaka. It's a really huge exhibit with seven major sections to it, really sounds like it'd be a fun time at it. Plenty of fine looking Tsubasa pics here from the ribbon cutting ceremony along with a video of it.
