Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruna Kojima: 2017 Magazine scans plus new Uniglo event pics and CM
If it seems like it's been close to forever since the last Haruna post you wouldn't be mistaken as this is her first one in exactly nine months! No good reason for that as Haruna has been keeping busy since her April graduation from AKB, may mean I have too many faves as it's difficult to keep up with all of them. But on the bright side it means there's nine months of happenings to post about so there will be another post or two coming up soon for those activities.
There's another huge fave who has been AWOL for way too long and sadly she has no new events to post about. Haruna is one of the rare AKB graduates who hasn't missed a beat since she left the group as she appears frequently in mags and at events along with doing many other activities. Haruna has been a co-host of the 'Umazu Kingdom' show since 2014 and also is a regular on the 'PON!' show every week though acting in dramas isn't something she's been doing.
Had two Haruna posts in 2017 which only contained four mag spreads. That's how many there are today but there has to be at least ten more for last year which I'll be getting to along with a few other happenings. Haruna is looking a tad older or at least if you compare her recent pics with ones from a decade ago, on April 19th she'll be hitting the elderly age of thirty. Will work backwards date wise with the four spreads, first off is from a special Flash edition from October titled 'Flash Diamond'.
Haruna has been an exclusive model for Maquia since 2010, her next post will have many pics from their site with these being from their August issue as she also graced the cover.
Third set is from the May 1st issue of Young Magazine.
Final Haruna set is the best of the bunch and by far the largest. Like the previous two spreads she also had the cover and this scintillating set is from the January 6th Friday.
Haruna is the new Spring ambassador for Uniglo's uh, er, gulp, women's undergarment collection. On the 18th she was at a press conference for the new lingerie items and unfortunately she didn't model any of them for us! But Haruna is starring in a new jaw-dropping CM which you can view after the event pics, besides the CM the video mainly has footage of the occasion.

Oi nahh...just realised she's the same age as Rika(older in months tho). Now that's a deadly duo that I would like to see in a mag spread pretty please Japan.
ReplyDeleteI'll always appreciate some KojiHaru posts.
ReplyDeleteRika and her are both exclusive models for Maquia so I'll check their site out to see if they're paired together.
ReplyDeleteDid read you Twice post AKF and do agree with many of those thoughts. J-Pop has certainly gone downhill and to be honest 80% of what I listen to these days is well over five years old. Will be having another Haruna post real soon then as many others seem to have missed her here, she reminds us fans of how good AKB and J-Pop in general was in the late 2000's.
What AKB really did was make groups popular, before then it was mainly solo artists who were the queens. To this day no artist can top hitomi to me as she's my all time fave J-Pop artist and seems the groups made singers like her obsolete.
Yeah, I grew up with Namie, BoA, Kumi, etc., so I couldn't get with the groups in Japan. Then I found Kpop shortly after it started exploding in the late 2000s and I never turned back. Mainly just listen to Jrock and older songs.
DeleteThe Jpop groups have some good looking members, but I always have to mute their MVs haha.
Namie is still incredibly popular, her latest album has sold over two million copies which hasn't happened for anyone in many eons, even AKB albums thankfully don't come too close to a million in sales.
ReplyDeleteDid have two BoA albums but moved a few years ago and they somehow got lost in the transition but do recall enjoying them. J-Rock hasn't suffered too badly over the years, do prefer the older groups but the current ones are mostly okay to me. What helps them is that they don't have to worry all that much about their image and whether or not they can squeeze into that skimpy article of lingerie....
