Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Masami Nagasawa: A little of this and that #1....
Didn't check but bet it's been at least seven months since the last Masami post. As long time readers know she was my #1 for so many years and though I often mention that some other fave could be my all time number one in all honesty that honor still belongs to Masami. Back in June she cut her hair and it was so short it really turned me off, don't know why she would mess with her perfect looks..
So because of that skipped doing posts for this long stretch and in a way hadn't thought about Masami all that much. But the cream of the crop always seem to rise back up and since September Masami has been looking super duper again so can't give a reason why there haven't been any recent posts. Labeled the title #1 as there will be at least two more posts coming up before the end of the month. One will be for a few other events from the past four months while there will be one next weekend for the premiere of her new film.
The last decade seems Masami's hair length seems to change every few months, personally she looks good whatever length it may be. But in June when she got it cut so short it made me feel so dispirited and for the most part forgot all about her. But Masami is back and looking much better as I said above, the proof is in some superb recent pics.
The past four years Masami has only appeared in one regular drama but will be starring in a series titled "The Confidence Man JP" which will begin in April. On to some recent pics and there are many more than these today which is why another post for her will be coming up soon, first off is this huge spread from the September 7th edition of Tokyo Walker Plus. As short as Masami's hair looks in this set it's still ten times as long as it was in June.
Pair of small spreads, four pics from the August Numero Tokyo and two from Hot Pepper Beauty for January.
Still wish her hair was a bit longer but it's getting there. On November 18th Masami was at the 'Tama Film Awards' show where she won a best actress award. Actually the award wasn't just for one film but for her performances in "Gintama" and "Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha".
Was looking at all of Masami's works over the years which is quite plentiful, I've seen her in nine dramas and seventeen films which is probably more than any other actress. Would say her best two dramas have been "Dragon Zakura and "Boko no Imoto while my two fave films with her were "Touch" and "Magare Spoon!" but there are so many others that are worth a view.
On January 20th Masami's next film will be released, it's titled "Uso wo Aisuru Onna". It also stars Issei Takahashi who has to be one of the busiest actors from the past decade. On the 14th there was a special screening for the film at the Space FS Shiodome in Toyko, the screening was just for females. Plenty of pics from today's event and following them is the film's trailer.
