Erika Toda: Happy 34th Birthday!!!!

 

 I'm a day early but it doesn't really matter. Sometimes when I do posts for older faves get a bit nostalgic and have to admit kind of miss the olden days to an extent but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the women I post about these days. But when you look back at who had the most posts from 2012-17 very few are still getting posts and there's too many reasons why that's happened which has been discussed before. Guess things go in cycles whatever the genre may be at your or anyone else's blog, perhaps five years from now most of the gals I'm now posting about will a trivia question! So this is Erika's first post in eleven months but I've always posted about her whenever possible. This year has been her most quiet one ever since her career began about two decades ago, believe me would have done posts for her but there's really been so few activities this year. Erika did get hitched in December 2020 but doesn't have any children and don't think getting married had anything to do with this long stretch of inactivity,. She probably did deserve the break as not many others have been as busy as she has for the last twenty years. In case anyone has forgotten or didn't know this blog was named after Erika!!!!

 As many have noticed am currently doing the countdown for my second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list. The first was done in 2018 and on that list Erika finished in the fourth position. She won't be on the new list and it's not the fact she dropped off but just decided not to include her, have no idea where I could have placed her which is why she's never been included on the yearly fave's lists too. So I'm hoping there can be a post or two for Erika in November as she has the lead role in a movie coming out then. But that'll be her only activity of the year as for she's going to be in zero dramas this year plus that'll be her only film, guess now the only way to go is up for activities!

 So because of everything I just said this won't be too large of a post but do have a good amount of recent pics. However you won't be seeing any new blog, Instagram, Twitter, etc. pics as Erika has posted zero of them this year and wonder why? The post below this one was for a huge fave about to turn 35 in age, mentioned that it seems most women I post about 30+ in age don't have many pics on social media which to me is more of a positive than negative. Do have some older birthday pics and am I feeling old for that fourth one is from 2005!

 Erika's last drama ended last September, after that she did so little up until April and actually very little since then too. But do have some superb mag spreads and a few modeling pics that have come out since then and as mentioned hopefully we'll be seeing more of her starting soo because of her new movie. First off are some pics from the Elle site that came out in June, you can see what she's modeling.

 Erika's hair is much shorter than it was a year ago, she still looks terrific but I kind of prefer it slightly longer. This batch of modeling pics are for the Ginza Summer collection, shame there's no video for it but after the pics have a newish CM for Lancome.

 Erika must still be popular as she's often the cover girl for the magazines she appears in. Third and final spread for today is from the July edition of Spur.

 Will end off with my top Erika pics which have been posted before but most have probably never seen them as her posts never get a high amount of views. These dazzling pics are from January 14, 2021 and the 32nd 'Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Awards' ceremony. She won the award for being the best jewelry wearer for any woman in their thirties, at the time Erika was 32 in age. After these heart attack inducing pics is a video of the event which has 2.7 million views!
