This was a spur of the moment post so don't think it'll be a regular series though will try to have more of these for the other '48' groups. Each has a new stupendous mag spread out but nothing else. Figured it didn't make much sense holding on them waiting for more so decided why not have a dual post plus this pair really do seem to be good friends.
The pair are very close in age as they were both born in 1997 a month apart, Juri on October 3rd while Nana's b-day falls on November 3rd. Two pics above are from their 'coming of age' ceremony that was held in January for AKB and all of their sister groups. You should recognize the other gal with them in the top pic, she turns twenty in a week.
Wouldn't mind seeing Juri and Nana in more mag spreads together, to date there's been just one which was from last September's edition of Bomb. As I said it was a spur of the moment post so wasn't prepared as usual but do have many pics of the dynamic duo together.
First of the two spreads features Juri who to me is the hottest current AKB member and would be in the top five for all '48' gals as she's one underrated knockout. Her character in "Cabasuka Gakuen" was one of my faves from that drama and we do need another season of 'Gakuen. But what we really need is a Juri photobook, many of my current faves have had the honor of having one the past year or so but for now she's been criminally overlooked. This beyond scintillating set is from the March 2nd issue of Friday and it may be her first time gracing a cover by herself.
Nana also has the cover for her spread which is from the March 26th edition of WPB. Her first photobook was released on February 27th, think the numbers sold may have been altered. The sales for week one were.... 7,777 copies sold on the Oricon charts or in other other 'Nananananananana'!!!! Actually thought Nana's PB would have sold more but think so many J-Pop fans aren't into the AKB members like they once were. Was searching YT for some videos for the duo but except from them appearing on 'Showroom' back in July 2016 there are none.
