Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: Yumi Wakatsuki "Palette" photobook scans
Wow, third Nogi post in one day!Thought I had posted the pics from this photobook but once again was mistaken. "Palette" is Yumi's first and probably will be her only one, it was released last November 7th. Much more conservative than the other Nogi books that came out last year but sure her many fans will enjoy this huge set of pics as it may have been the biggest book.
Still shocked how many Yumi fans are out there. Did a post solo post for her last November and it's been the seventh most viewed post of all time! That's the post you'll see of her in the most viewed posts for the past month and it must have been a superb one to attract so many viewers.
Yumi isn't among my fave members nor is she what you would consider a gravure model. But she's been around since day one of Nogi's existence, she's been a key cog in the group so guess she did deserve a photobook. First week sales were a little less than 17,000 copies sold, not a huge number but respectable enough and it did rank #1 on the Oricon charts that first week out.
The pics for the PB were shot in Spain, think all of the Nogi members were able to take a trip overseas for their books. On to the pics and as mentioned it may have been the biggest PB as there's a total of 107 pics for the many Yumi fans to enjoy.
