Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nao Kanzaki: Nao's 'Top Twenty of All Time Faves' list.... #1!!!! part four, mag spreads
Hopefully everyone has recovered from the shock of Saki being my #1 of all time, the more posts I do the more confident I am that the correct decision was made. Also hoping that Saki has picked up a few fans long the way, she truly is one fun, interesting and ultra attractive woman. However any new fans won't be able to enjoy any new songs from C-ute as they disbanded sixteen months ago and I'm really missing them so bad these days though least I have over a hundred songs to ease the main along with a dozen concerts from them.
Have another C-ute video at the top which is a bit of an obscure tune from them. Quality isn't the greatest but there aren't too many videos of the song on YT. It's my second fave song from the group yet it was never released as a single, think it's so fantastic it could have been the number one single which they never had. Name of the song is "Midnight Temptation" which can only be found on their 2011 album "Chou Wonderful", surprisingly it wasn't on their 2017 box set of six discs.
This won't be one of the bigger posts so added in those above pics which are from C-ute's 2014 photobook "Alo-Hello". Over the years the members did appear in many mags though there weren't many solo spreads as most of the sets featured all five members. Just going to have Saki's solo sets, seemed as though there were many in 2013 and 2014 but nine since then. Let's get to them with this first spread from the April 2013 edition of UTB, it was promoting her "Nakasan" PB.
Won't be going in order with the spreads. Another Saki appearance for the UTB mag and this is from their April 2014 issue and has some outtakes from her final photobook "N20".
Not all that many solo spreads so will bump in a few that also feature her C-ute mates. The whole group was featured in YS-Web #581 that came out in 2015, none of the pics were solo ones but we don't mind seeing Saki with her best buddy from C-ute. Have done one 'pairs post' with the duo and it may be an excellent idea to work on another one for them.
This is one of the final group spreads that C-ute did which is from volume 38 of UTB+ which came out in April, 2017 and it was two months after when the group had their farewell performance.
These last C-ute group spreads may actually be their last ones together, first off is a set from the June 2017 edition of Junon. Also from that month was a spread from Big One Girls which has six pages and the first has five.
Have two more Saki solo spreads to end off with, these are from the July 2013 issue of Entame.
Final set for this post is from volume 39 of Girls! which came out in May of 2013. Wasn't a huge spread so it was a bit of a surprise there was a video of the photo shoot which you can view after the pics and it's a fairly decent video though very conservative.
