Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Jurina Matsui: A (too) few recent happenings....

This is Jurina's first solo post in exactly seven months and have I missed posting about her so much. She was going to make my all time fave's list but started an age limit rule for the list which was 23. Mainly had the rule due to Jurina as I thought she may have been a tad young, she won't be hitting the age of 23 for seventeen months. Not positive but think she would have been around the fifth position, to me she's close to being the hottest Idol of all time and she's the odds on fave to top the next list if there ever is one.

This has been kind of a roller coaster year for Jurina. She did place first in this year's AKB Senbatsu election which took place in June. But she's had some difficulties though such as she was on hiatus for a few months but has now returned to SKE. Jurina also did do a bit of trash talking about another '48' member which didn't please many fans.
Her hiatus she said was due to health problems but kind of wonder if management didn't tell her to take a mini break. Though just 21 Jurina has been such a popular Idol for a decade and perhaps she was just getting a bit burnt out by her career. I just want to see her back full time as I've certainly missed her and we really do need to see her become a bit busier. SKE's next single is coming out in December so hopefully that'll mean many new mag spreads for her, would also love to see another photobook as she's just had one which came out in September 2016.

At one time no Idol seemed to appear in more mags then Jurina but think for this year she's only been in about five mags but that number will be rapidly increasing. At the top of the post is a short promo video from the July issue of BLT, some pics here from the mag.

Jurina was on the 'Produce 48" show but left in July due to her health problems, don't know what her rank was when she left but you would think she may have made the top twelve who are forming a new J/K-Pop group.

Last up are a set of amazing Jurina pics from the October 16th edition of Flash and she's looking so oki doki, hopefully this is the start of many more mag appearances for her.
