Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Hinatazaka46: Their third mesmerizing post for 2021....

Sigh, now there's someone I wish could have a post every week, sigh again. Another mesmerizing post but not an overly huge one though certainly large. Hina's group posts the last year have easily been the biggest as I'll bet most had close to 125 pics. Have about half that amount for today which is still considered a large one and thought it'd be wise to leave a lot of things for future posts. This is just their third group post for the year and they easily could have had a least twice that amount if not for making their previous ones so huge.

So won't be doing a group post next week but there should be three of them, perhaps even a solo post. Want to wait until the following week as Hina is releasing their fifth single on May 26th so will wait to see what the sales figures were. Title of the main track is "Kimi Shika Katan" and it'll easily top the charts in it's first week out, Nogi has their next single coming out two weeks after.

When I said you should see three posts next week or perhaps even tomorrow they'll be for the group's new drama "Koeharu!" that's currently airing. There's going to be a total of ten episodes, four have aired and three have been subbed. Have finished one recap and will do the other two this weekend. Have to admit I do have a soft spot for Idol dramas and have really enjoyed the first three shows. The main star is Mirei who plays the timid character of Meiko. She's such a manga fan and when she learned her fave manga will be an anime she enrolled in a voice actor's school though so far she's at the bottom of the class. Seven other members get plenty of screen time and they often wear their current Hina uniforms but have wondered why Miku's looks slightly different? These pics are from episode two.

The group has been doing quite a few interviews the last ten days for the single, this batch here is from the Oricon site.

Impossible to have solo pics of everyone in these posts and notice I do concentrate more on my bigger faves. Such as Kumi who at 25 years old is Hina's oldest member and their captain. She's a model for the Ray magazine and these are new pics from their site.

Konoka has become such a massive fave of mine and she looks so superb. She turned 22 in April and is supposed to be in the current drama but haven't seen her. In the last group post had a terrific spread of her from the June issue of Bomb, these are some outtake pics from the photo shoot.

I can't get enough of Konoka so here's some recent pics from the Hina blog. Soon will compile all of her pics from the last year or so for at least one solo post.

Will end off with a pair of mag spreads, this first set is from the June 2nd issue of Weekly Shonen. It features Nao who next month will be releasing a photobook. With her is Shioho who I was really hoping would have a PB, it probably will happen and she's the center for the upcoming single.

More Shiho to end the post off with, she's joined by Kyoko and Mei in the May 29th issue of Young Magazine. Always set aside Kyoko's solo pics for solo posts and her first photobook is still in the top ten for sales. The group does the theme song for their current drama "Koeharu!", the song is titled "Koe no Ashiato" and you can view the PV after the pics.
