.... Nao's number one? Hmmmm, that's something I'd like to see her battle for but think the odds are sadly against her but one never knows. As I've said on occasion it's just so much more difficult to do posts for Korean actresses versus their counterparts from Japan. Actresses from there have so many more activities such as appearing in magazines, modeling, promoting products and such plus a few other things. That's not the case in Korea unless you're extremely popular and it has gotten worse this past year. So though I may prefer Korean actresses and overall they do look better to me their lack of opportunities really hurts them here. But then again they may not mind as Korean actresses do make a larger salary as their dramas are usually twice as long as ones from Japan. Nothing I haven't mentioned before but have really missed doing posts for some of my bigger faves from the country.
In January 2020 Han-Na began hosting a radio show called 'FM Cool' which has become popular and she even won an award for it last year. There's always many pics of her hosting the show but the quality of them is just too low or I would post a massive amount of them.
Han-Na doesn't have the lead role and don't know if she ever has in a drama. But she probably has the third largest role and seeing as how episodes for Korean dramas are an hour or longer least it means she gets plenty of screen time and her character is an important one. In Korea Gumiho means Fox. The main story is of a man who is 999 years old(!) but has the body of a human though he's a fox. He's working as a college professor and there's a way for a fox to become a permanent human by collecting human energy in a bead. But somehow the magical bead was swallowed by a college student who is female, until they can figure out a way to get it out her body they ended up living together. That first episode was one of the better shows I've seen in a long time so will end up watching the entire sixteen episode series. However may wait until it finishes it's run as I'm already viewing four dramas and there's just not enough time to watch everything I'd like to.
In the drama Han-Na plays the character of Hye-Sun who is also a Fox and isn't she!!!! Sun-Hye is over 700 years old and four years ago she became a full fledged human but kind of a daffy one. She knows the professor who lost his magical bead and it seems he thinks so lowly of Sun-Hye. Won't go into too much detail as I will be recapping the series but who knows when, may also do some posts for the lead actress. Have some ultra sweltering screenshots from the first episode and sweltering may be an understatement, wow! Compare these pics to the very first one in the post which was from 2015, they're very similar or at least the top is. Han-Na's hair is longer but she must be wearing extensions.
