Nogizaka46: The 'Happy 21st Birthday to Yuki Yoda post'.... part one(?)....
You may be wondering 'Part one?'. Yes, that's because I completely blew it with this birthday, perhaps not completely but got my dates wrong. For some reason thought it took place about ten days from now when actually it was today so didn't have much ready for this post. But was planning on doing one for Yuki in ten days so will be holding back a few things and for her massive fan base there will be another post very shortly, that'll be part two. Not many Nogi posts recently but will have two superb ones coming up, perhaps will have one of them tonight. Have two photobooks which I know everyone will love, one will be done on Saturday. Am working on the other so it may be ready for tonight, no later than tomorrow.
Nogi's 27th single will be coming out in a month but it's been a quiet stretch for group activities compared to this time period last year. Back then they had their ten episode 'Nogizaka Cinemas' drama that featured a different starring member in each show. In June their third 'Nogizaka 46 hours Live TV' special aired and am hoping they'll do that again after the single comes out. In last year's second show is when Yuki had her first haircut in five years, it's starting to get a bit longer but not nearly the length it once was. What's also pleasing is now there's just one more fave who is less than 21 in age but she'll be hitting that number in August. But it would have been so hard not to have posts for Yuki as no Idol has appeared in more mags than she has the last two years.
Plus had to have Yuki's incredible second photobook that came out in March 2020. That's sold close to 230,000 copies to date so guess it's just a matter of time until PB #3 comes out and it'll be tough to top that last one. Am holding back one mag spread plus a few Nogi blog pics but still have 43 brand new pics plus a few oldies, no new b-day pics so far for this year.
Also have a huge batch from Nogi's SSR series of cards. Bit of a mix as some are older and a few are new such as the ones for their February birthday concerts.
You can usually tell if the pics are old or new as the newer ones will be of Yuki with shorter hair but have noticed sometimes the cards may be new but have older pics if that makes sense. She's a model for the Bis magazine but not many recent pics from their site.
That next post may have two new mag spreads. One should be for the upcoming issue of BLT Graph and do have some outtake pics from it.
For over a year now Yuki has been by far the most popular gal I post about. In 2020 her posts had the highest average of views and she ran away from the pack, may happen again this year. If there's a slower stretch in June will do a pair of list posts, one for the most popular women here and the other for the most viewed posts for the first half of the year. Yuki wasn't at the last TGC show held on February 28th which kind of surprised me, zero events for her this year. So let's go back in time to the May 19, 2018 'Girls Award' Spring/Summer show and Yuki took a stroll on the GRL stage.
We've hit the end and at sixty pics hard to call this a mini post. For 2019/20 Yuki won the Idol award for appearing on the most magazine covers, she's had about four so far this year. She has that honor for this final set that's from the May 5th issue of Weekly Shonen Champion. Bottom five are bonus ones and like all Nogi members you only see gravure pics when they have a photobook coming out. As has been the case for most of my faves there's no decent new videos. So after the pics have one from January for Cup Star soup. They had a series of about five CM's that starred Yuki, they were titled 'Detective Yoda' and they are kind of entertaining.
