Marie Iitoyo: Sigh, just because I miss posting about her so much....

 

 Though many may think I do too many posts for her!!!! For 2020/21 Marie averaged one of these posts every other week and that's not including any for dramas or films. But this is just her seventh one since December 1st and while that may be a nice total for anyone else it's certainly isn't for my #1 of all time! So though there's not all that many new things for today scraped together enough for a decent post but hope Marie ups her activities soon. She should finish number one when the second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list is done, am about 95% sure it'll happen. But she has a long way to go if she wants to be #1 for the third year in a row and what helps her is that no one else has claimed that honor yet to date.

 What there's been a shortage of are event pics for Marie so far this year but then again that's been the case for so many other faves. However on May 14th there will be a 'Girls Award' show and it'll be their first one in two years. So far just know who from Keya and Hina will be attending the show but the news for this just came out a week ago. So I'm presuming Marie will be there as she's been at about twenty of them in the past, this small batch is from their September 2018 show.

 Marie is currently in two dramas but one I won't be viewing. That's "Koi Nante, Honki de Yatte Do Suru no?" as I just can't stand the lead actress. But she did do a mini interview with the Model Press site for the drama and here's the link to it: Model Press interview

 That interview took place on April 11th after a brief press conference for the drama.

 Kind of shocked how few new modeling pics there were for April at the Oggi site. Just four when she usually has twenty but think Marie will be the cover girl for their June issue. However in the last week there's been some ultra perfect pics at the More site, especially those top four...

 The other drama Marie is starring in is the second season of "Hiru", was kind of bummed out she wasn't in season one. Just three 'Leeches' are in this season along with a pair of detectives, Marie has the co-lead role so can't complain too much. 'Hiru' in Japanese means Leeches though not the creatures but a person who leeches off of others. But in this case a Hiru is someone who spends their days at a person's apartment when they're at work, a Hiru will use that apartment to clean, eat, sleep and whatever else but needs to make sure everything is in perfect order when they leave so they can make return visits.

 In this drama her real name is Yoko Sakura but is referred to as Hako. The Yo part can also be pronounced as Ha which is where her nickname comes from. Hako is a Hiru and we watched her enter two apartments in this first show but the first time she was caught. Not by the tenant but by a person named Kara who is a Hiru Hunter and somehow when Hako was sleeping he wrote a message on her arm. The pair did end up meeting later at a coffee shop and Kara claims to be someone who attended school with Hako ten years prior but she's a bit leery about this man. Have been taking a break from dramas as I was overdosing on them but will return to them soon, am on a major movie marathon as of late. This is just a six episode series, two shows have been subbed so far so when they're all done is when I'll watch the entire drama and recap it.  Will end off with another shameless plug of Marie's first and only photobook, "NO GAZPACHO". That book came out in January 2018, out of 300 or so photobooks I ranked this as my 16th fave one of all time. But it's been over four years now since it came out and sadly getting the feeling it'll end up being her only book, have the link for it here. Marie was at the March 21st 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, she looked superb but not as perfect as in the past.
