Miona Hori: Perhaps this is her quasi semi-triumphant return?

 

 Three months since her last post, gaps like that are rare for her but think it happened last year too. This post should have been done at the end of March as just about every pic will be from that month. Won't go into details but was kind of down on Miona for a while, not because of being less busy but something else but that's happened many times in the past with others. April wasn't the busiest of months for her but there were some activities which will be in her next post that will hopefully be by the end of the month. Miona will be at tomorrow's 'Girls Award' show plus will be in a drama beginning on June 1st so hoping that post title is correct....

 Though there was that gap in posts this is Miona's fifth one since December 1st. So she just needs one more to qualify for the yearly fave's list which will make five consecutive years for her and only four others have a streak like that going. In 2020 Miona did finish in the second position but really wasn't close to being number one. That was an oddity as her other three years the positions have been between tenth and fourteenth, she's going to need to be a bit busier to finish that high again.

 I think Miona is a good actress but her non-Nogi roles have really just been so-so. Actually she's been fine in the dramas and it's just that they haven't been so good along with her horrible "Hot Gimmick" film. She doesn't have the lead in that next drama which appears to be a semi rom-com so not sure if I'll be viewing that. So as mentioned it's been a bit of a slow stretch for Miona with this being her first post in thee months but do have over fifty new pics from March today. First off are some from her Instagram page, her pics are always superb but there's been a bit of a slowdown with them.

 Miona is a model for the ar magazine but hasn't had a spread larger than two pages since December, least there were some super duper pics at their site.

 Besides ar there's also been zero other spreads for Miona this year which is kind of surprising. So why not go back into the past with this terrific set from the April 2021 issue of Bubka which may have been her final spread as a Nogi member.

 My second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list will be starting in August, will have an intro post or two before the countdown. There's a few who are on the bubble for me, to include them or not? Miona is one of those select few and at this point really can't say whether she'll make my top twenty or not, selections such as that are what make lists like that so interesting.  We've already hit the end of this post, lot of pics to an extent but no so many activities. This final set of pics is from another event and I like these much more than the above ones. On March 29th Miona was at the 2022 'Campus Award Grand Prix' ceremony where she was an ambassador and also handed out the grand prize. First time I had ever heard of this award which is for college students, think it's for students that combine academics and future modeling the best though may not be 100%accurate. It seems to be a popular contest and why not for as you can see in the bottom pic the winner gets an award of two million yen for their studies or $15,500. Plenty of fabulous pics from the ceremony plus after them is a video from the event though it's mainly a speech by the overall Queen.
