Nao Kanzaki: Thanks for.... 19 Million views(yay!)..... plus an early look at this year's faves list....

There's a pair who are extremely overdue for a post. So when record is mentioned it refers to how many days it took to get a million views. For instance going from 16 to 17 million views took an even hundred days which was a new record. That was broken as it took just 95 days to go from seventeen to eighteen million, I'm a bit amazed at how many more views this blog has been getting compared to five years ago. Could be twice as many and this time a record wasn't set but still wanted to give a big thanks to all that keep visiting.

It was close but no cigar, the stretch from 18 to 19 million took 97 days and barely missed a new record. There was a slowish period for posts in March which may have had something to do with barely missing but still coming so close boggles my mind. Wasn't that many years ago I was overjoyed when it took 150 days for a million views and still wondering when the peak will be hit. So if a new record is to be set this time it'd have to be done on or before August 17th. In a very odd twist that happens to be the 34th birthday of who this blog was named after!!!!

Most viewers enjoy reading stats, Blogger does give you a fair amount of them. Not always certain what they have is 100% correct but for the most part they probably are. Japan will always have the most views and they have three times as many as America, have wondered often are there that many English speakers in Japan? Or in other places too as southeast Asian countries also visit here at a high level. So you can see that Blogger does keep track of just about all of the viewer's habits, before long will probably be able to keep track of what everyone has for dinner!!!!

This is a bad time for lists, too early for any half year ones plus in March did a few others for past years. During August and September will be doing my second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list and as bizarre as it sounds am wondering if I can find twenty for the list?! Ones like that are for the best of the best, while I do have too many faves to count do I have enough massive ones? That I will have to work at and near the end of July will have an intro post for it. Plus am a bit worried will there be enough to compile a regular top twenty list this year which I thought would be a nice add on to this post. As of now I would say the answer is no, so many of my faves from the past aren't as busy as they once were, perhaps they got married, retired, cut back on activities, etc. which aren't negatives however doesn't seem there's been enough newbies to replace them.

Of course that's Marie right above who has been my #1 for the past two years. Really hate to say it but don't think she has a chance this year and I'm just hoping he can remain in the top five. So doing this post helped me as I had to see what the post counts were to date for everyone, the only criteria to be eligible for the list is to have six solo posts. Still have the age being 22 or older to be introduced. Last year 28 had six or more posts, the previous two years 32 had qualified but they included some of my top Korean actresses who I still like quite a bit but these days besides dramas they do so little unlike the past.

I'm hoping to just make it to 24 who are eligible and even that may prove to be tough but there's still over six months before the countdown is done. Will just have one preliminary post this year for the list but unsure when that will be. So have two segments here, the first is for my faves who already have six or more posts. One key note is that just because you qualify for the yearly fave's list doesn't mean you automatically will be on the list which is why I want more to qualify than are needed. So will have two pics of each who have six or more posts to date and in a way you could consider these to be my bigger faves. To start off have Marie and while a slow year compared to others she's right there as far as who my #1 woman of all time will be. But she's now in a fierce battle with Risa who I feel could pass her and she's probably tied for this year's top spot with the fave following her. That's Mai and while both should be in the top five for the year their posts will be slowing down so this could be such a wide open field for an underdog to slip in. Hinako is the fourth woman down and will have a post for her photobook on June 1st. Then to finish off this first section there's Maria, Minami, Nashiko, Nene, Yuki, Kazusa and the other Risa who is new yet already has enough posts.

Right above are eleven who are already eligible for the fave's list but need many more than that!!!! So having four posts each are this group though the first now has five. I expect each of them to reach six posts so not worried at all about this group of nine who will then bring the number up to twenty. But really want to reach at least 24 faves who qualify, if that total can be hit then the list would be sixteen and that's plenty as I may be a bit burnt out after doing that all time list. What I'm hoping for are a few who have been way too quiet this year to become much busier, someone like Mio who to my surprise only has two posts so far this year, Miyu K. has three posts so there could be two possibles to reach at least 24.

As mentioned Kyoko now has five posts and this will be her third year of making it. What may shock some of you is that her Hina mate Miku has four posts and how I really like her, perhaps a few other members from the group could become eligible. Following her is Tsubasa and what a nice comeback she's made this year, then there's Nanase who will have a post next week for her 28th birthday. To round off the faves who have four posts to date this year are a pair of Nogi members who are Minami and Mizuki, then the ex-Nogi member Miona with Rika and Haruka the final two faves. Those two have been very quiet lately as it's been well over a month with no posts. Both them are also together in a current drama and did recap the first two shows but have been lazy about doing more but promise those will be done soon.
