Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2022: Position #16, the 'fading' Marie Iitoyo

 

 Hated to use the word fading in the title but sadly it's an apt description of her for 2022. Was going to begin the countdown tomorrow and have two positions. But thought to myself that made no sense and why not start today as odds are there will nothing new in the next 24 hours. So have this post for today, #15 will be tomorrow and then on Wednesday the fourteenth position. Then a holiday is coming up so will take at least one day off which means #13 won't be until this weekend. That's okay as it may be a slightly difficult post to do such as this one was.

 By the end of November should have the first five positions done, that will leave eleven spots which I hope to have completed by December 20th. That shouldn't be a problem as posts for the top ten are often easier to do because they're so much busier. These posts for the fave's list are no different than ones throughout the year, the only thing I do is not have posts for the sixteen faves the prior month and save up their recent happenings for these posts. So most will be rather large but not all, there could be two or three on the smaller side and hate to say it but this could be the smallest of them all! In defense of this position and most others who ended up between tenth and sixteenth is that this was by far the strongest of all the yearly lists. Bet last year this spot would have been 3-4 position higher, same goes for the next five spots too and you'll see what I mean when the countdown continues on.

 Hope I don't sound too negative or harsh in this post. That's not the intention and if anything my feeling for 2022 has been one of a major disappointment. Marie had thirteen posts for this year, for most women that's a very impressive number. But she had 25 last year so that's a drop of 48% in posts plus they were much smaller. All were quite good but do have to admit the level of them wasn't as high as previous years. But this does make five consecutive years for Marie making the list, only two others can brag about that feat! Knew by May Marie wouldn't be number one again but thought she'd at least be battling for a top five spot. By the end of May she had nine posts so this is only her fifth one in the last six months and even they were a struggle to do at times.

 Will admit did have some thoughts she wouldn't even make the top sixteen but couldn't let that happen. So while 2022 has been Marie's slowest year for activities since 2017 as mentioned she's now made the list five straight years, her average position on the lists has been sixth place. Plus she finished in the fourth spot on the 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list that was completed two months ago. So while the second half of the year was a bit of a downer for Marie there were some bright spots here and there. She'll be turning 25 in about six weeks so I'm really hoping for a grand comeback next year.

 When I mentioned the word disappointment it was about the lack of activities for2022 and perhaps she was a bit burnt out from being so busy the previous four years. After the month of May the only modeling pics were from two sites, they were also the only magazine spreads she had as her last regular spread was in February! Plus Marie seldom posts IG pics so you can understand why this may be the smallest of all the list posts. But on the bright side she did appear at a fair amount of events and looked super duper at them. Lets get to some new pics and there's close to 35 of them but wish there were twice as many. Did say she's a model for two sites, one of them is More and she's been with them for over three years, these are some new pics from their site.

 More new terrific Marie modeling pics from the Oggi site and she's ben with them since August 2018. Them and More are the only spreads she's had the last six months and have zero for today.

 Marie does have a new holiday CM for Ralph Lauren but it isn't on YT yet. However it is at their site and have the link to it, Marie looks better than ever in this video: Ralph Lauren CM

 Will have one batch of slightly older pics and to me they were Marie's best modeling pics of the last two years. They're for the Uniqlo Spring/ Summer collection and they came out in April, did a post devoted to these pics back then and why were there no others?

 We're already at the end, these are some superb pics too but wish there were more solo ones. As mentioned Marie has been a model for Oggi since 2018, she was at an event for the magazine on November 2nd to help them celebrate their 30th anniversary, the actual anniversary date was in August though. Have a video of the event following these pics and there is another huge fave with her who I think will be 12th on the list.
