This is one superb book yet it may not get as many views as other Idol books. Week or so ago in a Hina group post was talking about this book briefly and how it reminded me of ones you used to see ten or more years ago which means it's slightly conservative. These days it's a battle between Idols do see who can dress the skimpiest(!), not that we're complaining but it's nice to see books like this on occasion. ****This is a perfect example of a photobook fitting someone's personality. Sure most know Akari who is a short yet very bubbly and energetic young woman. Akari also seems like she'd be a barrel of fun to be with and the pics from this book kind of give off that vibe, of course there's some fabulous gravure pics but not nearly as many as most Idol books.
Sales for this book were fairly solid, after five weeks it had sold 57,500 copies. That's according to
Oricon and seeing as how they don't count sales at concerts perhaps the total is closer to 70,000 because Hina just wrapped up their Autumn tour. This book was released on July 26th, the Winter pics were shot in Aomori which of course is in the north, the swimsuit and other outdoor pics were taken in Setouchi which is a little east of Okayama. Though there's not many gravure pics think all
Akari fans will really enjoy this book and she has so many fans here. This is only
Akari's second solo post but will be working on more and she always has quite a few things in group posts. On to the book and it's another large one, Hina has only five member books to date yet all are at least 125 pages and this one has 140. Have one more member book to post but that wasn't released until September so that'll be either the first post of December or January.
