Minami Umezawa: Her unassuming first captivating post for February!!!!

 

 February may be one of the top months of the year, to date all of the posts have been terrific(as usual!) plus will do something that's never been done before! Which is to have two Minami posts in a month and she's been so difficult to do posts for over the last three years. This will be a large post but bet I'm holding back close to seventy photos and by the time of that next post the total may be over a hundred! So guess there's an outside chance of having a third post in March and how I hope so, would say that Minami holds a slight edge over a Morning Musume member for being my current fave J-Pop Idol. In an odd twist she too had a photobook come out this week and for so many years have said how Minami is by far Nogi's most sexy and alluring woman of all time!

 However most of you viewers don't share the same kinds of feelings as I do about Minami though the same can be said for many other of my favorite women. Did a post back in October 2022 for her and there was nothing special or different about the post. Except for the fact it's the last one to date of Minami's which has received over a thousand views, it may seem hard to imagine but has she been the least popular Nogi member I've ever posted about? The answer could be yes and overall I'd place Minami in about the sixth position as far as All Time Nogi members go, had she been in one of the first two generations she may have been battling to be my #1 member! That's how much I adore Minami who hasn't been in the spotlight as often since two more generations were added in but she also has to juggle the responsibilities of being their third captain, in two weeks it'll be the third anniversary of her being appointed to that position.

 Back on January 6th Minami hit the age of 27, she's the second oldest active member of Nogi. But I don't think she's planning to leave the group for at least another year, only one member has ever hit the age of thirty. Minami's second photobook came out three days ago, with Nogi it's often been a sign that the member will soon leave but luckily that won't be the case for her. This is Minami's 92nd post and hitting a hundred has been common for Nogi members but those numbers have been inflated due to appearing in so many group posts. But Minami now has 44 solo ones and when she hits a hundred those solo posts will have increased to 52 so that's a much more respectable percentage than most members.

 Shame there weren't enough photos of the duo together and think they're remained good friends, at 170 cm Minami is Nogi's tallest member. Have a little of a lot for today and the next post will be very similar. Three days ago there was an event for the book but need time to gather more pics from it plus am waiting to see if there will be any new magazine spreads, so far haven't seen any for the book. First off are these photos from Minami's IG page and she also has them at Nogi's blog, they only go up to January 6th. That's the second pic below and on that date Minami hit the age of 27, how about those legs in the top photo?! The last two are rare as Minami is with two other '46' group gals, the captain from Keya but where was the captain from Hina?

 In the center above is Keya's captain Rina, she too has a new photobook and may do an overdue post for her. On the right is Konoka and she sadly left Hina a little over a week ago. Their captain is Mikuni and wonder why she wasn't at the video taping session? Have plenty of older Nogi cards that had never been posted before, they go backwards from 2024-22 and are for Nogi's birthday/anniversary. At the end of February the group usually holds a pair of concerts to celebrate but sadly there's often a graduation of a popular member but don't think that will be the case this year. For Minami's next post will have plenty of cards for Valentine's Day with many being brand new for here.

 There was only one birthday pic above for Minami so have a few older ones below, noticed they don't have cards anymore for members turning a year older.

 For the new photobook Minami has been making the rounds as she's done many interviews to promote it. The pics below are from the Model Press site and also have the link to it, their interviews are usually fairly good and so wasn't this one, the word Graduation was mentioned a few times but it sounds like Minami isn't planning on leaving anytime soon: Model Press site

 Not that I'm often correct with my opinions but to me the best current modeling photos belong to Minami and the ones she has at the Classy site. These are some ultra superb pics that came out in November and December, will have her January modeling pics in Minami's next post. That first pic was in her last post but is so fabulous had to have it again!!!!

 This is the final batch of new pictures but there are two more sections after this. "Transparent Determination" is the title of Minami's second photobook and came out three days ago, her first book came out in September 2020. Below are some scorching promo pics from the book and now you can see why I've said Minami has been my all time sexiest and alluring Nogi member for seemingly eons!!!! There's that something about that fifth photo which makes it my favorite but those last few are certainly overly steamy! For the book Minami traveled to Italy for the photo shoot, mainly the cities of Milan and Florence.

 No new magazine spreads for today so let's go back in time for this set from the October 2, 2020 issue of Friday. Minami was the cover girl and usually has that honor for the magazines she appears in, this spread featured outtake pics from her first book.

 Will end off with some pics and the link to Minami's first photobook "Yume no Chikaku" which was released on September 29, 2020. For so many years it was my #1 book of all time and it still could be, I haven't done such a list in years and guess it's time for one? This book has reached about 125,000 copies sold and wonder how this new one will sell for books these days have seen such a decrease the past four years. Which is hard to believe as the books are better than ever and just reminded myself I still haven't done a list of my fave Nogi books. Remember way back in 2020 when Nogi's mini drama "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" aired and then was followed by a movie? I do and that was such a fun show and film, miss those kinds of things and hasn't so much fun gone out of J-Pop the last five or more years?
