Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Saki Fukuda: 'Saki from the vault' #11

Hope others aren't getting tired of Saki, I really could post about her all day but unfortunately she doesn't have as much stuff to post about compared to a few of her peers. First off though is nothing from the vault but some new pics from a current drama Saki is in, got real lucky and was able to find the first episodes of the drama which is called "Owakon". It's about the happenings at a TV station, will be back with more info on it once I finish more of the series which naturally isn't subbed, hopefully I can figure out what is going on, here's few screenshots from episode one of the drama along with some pics from the drama's site, it airs on NHK-BS.

Now to go back in time a bit, Saki's first stage play was in 2008 and it was called "Hula Girls", same plot as the movie, the play ran in July and August of that year. Have some pics from the press conference for the play plus after that are some truly amazing pics of her from a TBS special for the play, wow does she look beyond fantastic!

More pics from 2008, these are from an October appearance on the Merengenokimochi show as she was doing some promoting for "The Cherry Orchard" film.

One last set of screenshots, these are from an August 2009 appearance on the Sekigake! Music Ranking show, besides trying her hand at the drums Saki was also promoting her "Ashita e Hikari" single.
