Last recap mentioned this may have been the best episode to date, they've all been solid watches but his one was just a tad better than all the others. No murder case this time around and actually there was no foul play at all for the latest mysterious death Akita and Kaoruko have to solve.
Not really going to give a recap of this episode, think I've been doing too many of them lately and have really got a little burned out from doing them. The dramas which have an ongoing story are easier to post about as you can do a recap of a whole bunch of episodes in one post. These series where there's a different plot for each episode gets a bit draining when you have to review each show separately so will slow down on reviewing these kinds of drama for a while. Actually had started a recap and just couldn't get into it at all after a few sentences so this time around am just going to post a bunch of screenshots instead.
Very briefly what happened in this episode was a man just suddenly died of a brain hemorrhage after eating dinner, the dinner wasn't the cause of the death but the remains in his stomach made Akita and Kaoruko curious about how the man spent his last hours. At first they and his wife thought he was having an affair and had a meal with his flame that afternoon but as usual our duo went along a different angle to solve his whereabouts and of course they solved the mystery. The man actually had a teenage daughter from his previous marriage that his current wife didn't know about and there was no affair as he had been secretly seeing her. No big investigation this episode but to me it was the most enjoyable to date, really every show has been a solid view, not a must watch drama but at the halfway point in this series would recommend it. If you're a Saki fan you should really like this show as she's got a nice big part in it and speaking of her here's some terrific screenshots of her from this episode.
