Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Anna Ishibashi: A little of this and that....
Long time between posts and can really say that about most of her posts as there's only been a total of six for Anna. Not from lack of trying to do any but just a shortage of things to post about it but think this will be the first of at least two of them for Anna in the upcoming weeks.
Anna has been a long time medium fave of mine, always had hoped she'd become more popular to move her up on my ranks but doesn't look as though that'll happen. Have a few recent mag spreads from this year and with the way Anna looks in all of them wish there were so many more.Going back a bit with this first one which is from the June 1st edition of Tokyo Walker.
Why do mags bother with two page spreads???? Especially ones that feature Anna such as this way too small set from the November 28th issue of SPA!.
This final spread kind of makes up for the above being only two pages, this A+ set of Anna pics is from the November 21st Flash.
Anna's next film is titled "Katte ni Furuetero" which will be released on December 23rd. There have been two recent screenings for the film so will have some info from them coming up soon along with a post for the premiere. Anna doesn't have the lead in the movie but it will be the second biggest female role, it's a movie I'm really interested in viewing.
On October 25th Anna was at the opening ceremony for this years 'Tokyo International Film Festival' which celebrated it's 30th anniversary. Those are the top set of pics but the ones following them are the real eye openers as Anna looked ultra dazzling on October 30th when the film had it's first screening at the Toho Cinemas in Roppogni. Following the pics is a longish video of the event.
