Saki looks a bit bummed out as she wasn't able to defend her title from last year, once you take the top spot on one my 'faves' list' you're ineligible for any more of them. Then you enter into the very prestigious 'Nao Hall of Fame' which now has six members, should do a post for that soon.
On to a few of the stats and whatevers as it seems most like to know a few of the facts about the twenty who made the list, as far as I know it's the only 'Nao's Top Twenty Faves' list in existence. For the first time included actresses from Korea, not that they weren't eligible before but honestly just forgot about including them. Four made it on the list and wouldn't be surprised if that total is a bit higher next year, two pics each of the ones who made it and their positions were #5, 12, 15 and 20.
Need to do more posts on the bottom two and will be doing that soon, that pair is Suzy and
Sung-Hee. Actually need to do more posts for all of the four plus plenty more from Korea but there there just never seems to be enough time for all of my plans.
For 2016's list the average age of the twenty honorees was 25 years and five months. Bit of an increase this year as it rose to 26 years and one month, wouldn't doubt if next year the average age wouldn't be higher. Min-Young is the oldest at 31 years and nine months, she edged out Manami by three months.
Surprisingly Manami is one of only two who have made the list for all three years of it's existence. Not that my tastes change that rapidly but have somehow forgotten to include a few huge faves of mine who should have been on one of the lists the past two years. Also if you've had a an extremely quiet year odds are good you wouldn't have made the list as it's for the year and not a lifetime top faves list. Other woman who has made the list all three years is Tsubasa and she's someone who should make it every year.
The two youngest faves on the list were Jurina who was ninth last year but moved up to fourth. She's another who I can see being a fixture every year, her age is 20 and nine months. A new gal for this year was Sayaka who made placed in the ninth position and she's someone who I will be doing many more posts for soon, her age is 21 and three months.
There's still two more names to go on the list, think #2 will be done tomorrow or Thursday. Number one many not be done until next week as I plan to make it a super duper special series of posts as it'll be her final time making the list. When you finish in the top spot you're not eligible as I was mentioning but also had a strong feeling she may have dropped off next year's list as will probably also #2.
With the posts that are usually done here you would think J-Pop Idols would have dominated the top twenty but that wasn't the case. Seven made it compared to eight actresses, the other five were a combination of being an actress/celeb/gravure Idol/model. Four of the Idols are from Hello Project while just three were from a '46' or '48' group though didn't include Nogi members on the list. As a hint for the top two both are H!P gals or should I say were until recently. Can't think of any more stats to add in for now but may be having a post for those who didn't make the list, some dropped off it while others just barely missed it.
