Was skimming through some of the older posts earlier just to see what things were or weren't included in them. What I really noticed about those posts from 2014-17 was the size of them, the majority of regular posts only had 30-40 pics most of the time. That got me thinking that a post that size is plenty big enough, don't know how it started but these days posts quite often have between 70-100 pics. Realized I need to cut down the size of them a bit, doing that will be more posts as I've said before bet most viewers would rather have two posts of fifty pics versus one of a hundred.
So that means this post is a bit smaller than usual but at 40+ pics how can you call it small? Plus Nanase just had a post four days ago and this one I had planned on doing tomorrow. Wanted to include screenshots from episode one of her new drama "Unsung Cinderella" but that's not going to happen for a while. Two days ago it was announced that the series is postponed for an indefinite period of time, who knows when it'll start? But it's not just that drama but at least ten other new ones have also been postponed as the current situation in Japan means filming dramas can't be done at the same pace as they usually are, won't go into any editorial on things yet until the exact details of her show and the others comes out.
Was looking forward to the new drama, have been watching so many from Korea recently as you've noticed. But this Spring season doesn't appear too strong so was hoping to watch a few Japanese series, as mentioned have no clue what's going to happen to these shows. Perhaps making them Summer dramas(?), no idea but that scenario could take place. It takes a long time to get up there in posts, Nanase now has 381(!) of them but it seems it'll take forever to reach 400. Figured out there's 38 weeks left in the year, one post every other week and she would hit that magical mark by the end of the year but can't see it happening.
Have been keeping my promises much more lately but there's one I didn't quite complete. That's of doing a pair of posts for the "Asahinagu" movie that came out in 2017 and starred many Nogi members. Nanase had the lead role in it and I will definitely get around to doing a review of it soon. Have watched it but on my DVD player so couldn't take any screenshots, Was a decent film and there are so many Japanese films with the 'underdog' theme, they've gone to the well a bit too much in that genre but will say I did enjoy this movie. It starred many Nogi members and it was nice to see some of the graduates who have been forgotten.
With Nanase's previous post done just four days ago it obviously means there's not many new things. But do have a pair of terrific new mag spreads and know her medium sized fan base would want to view them. This many be the only post I've ever done for Nanase where there's no new Non-no pics but do have some older Nogi cards as usual. But running out of them, had two hundred that had never been posted but after today think the total is down to 25.
Of course in any posts these days there's zero new pics from events as there's a ban on them in Japan and Korea. So was checking what event pics had or hadn't been posted, found some superb ones from the May 19, 2018 'Girls Award' show. Did do a few posts for the members that appeared at the show including Nanase but many of these pics weren't in her post. Also think that many haven't seen these pics or maybe just forgot all about the show, she looked fabulous during both of her strolls.
Now on to those pair of new mag spreads, I prefer this first set though wish it was a bit larger and is from the April 15th issue of Anan.
Nanase is such a rarity in the Idol world as she's almost as popular as she was when in Nogi, not at that level but there hasn't been a huge drop off. That's something you can't say about many Idols, who else has remained hugely popular after leaving their group? Nanase is often the cover girl for most of the mags she appears in and has the honor for the new issue of WPB which is dated for April 20th, bottom four pics are bonus ones. After the pics have a video from that 2018 'Girls Award' show, it's not a solo video as it features a few other Nogi members.
