Rika Izumi: A little(lot) of this and that....

 As has been my norm since this massive slowdown began have been taking Tuesdays off. Hopefully this won't be the last post until Wednesday PM as I'm trying to work on one for Nogi, you'll find out soon enough if I was successful or not....

 Not that I was wrong yesterday with talking about the gal who is now described as 'perfect' in new editions of dictionaries but hard to call Rika anything but perfect too! Will start a few petitions to get her included as a perfect example of perfect(?) too, perhaps another word along those lines would suit her better. Rika the past three years has finished third, fourth and sixth on my yearly top twenty list and her 4.3 position average tops anyone else. For the first semi-preliminary post for this year's list had her third and it's not out of the question that Rika may finally top a list.
 Would be funny if she never was number one for a year because the next time there's a 'My Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list would consider Rika to be the front runner. Her main competition would be for who finished third on the list that was done back in late 2018, perhaps my current #1 for this year would be in the mix too. Kind of feel a bit bad for Rika and the sales of her second PB that came out on April 7th. It's probably sold close to 10,000 copies but the crisis in Japan has really affected it's sales. She wasn't able to have any events for the book which is a shame as she looks so darn classy and elegant at them. Her first photobook "Rika" came out in April 2017 and recall it being a solid seller at about 50,000 copies sold, would think that figure is higher by now and to me it's the #1 photobook of all time.

 Title of the second PB is "Madeira" and the pics for it were taken in Portugal. Here's some promo pics for the book, some you've seen before but mixed in about five or so new ones. Quite a fabulous photobook but it's almost impossible to top her first one and no woman ever has.... or will!

 You'd think with such an amazing figure Rika would do so many gravure spreads but it's actually the opposite. The only times she's really done them are the periods for the two photobooks and it doesn't matter to me whether she does them or not as she's simply ideal. Not much variety today as the slowdown on activities has even affected Rika which is surprising as no woman has done more modeling work than she has the last four years. Noticed this fine batch of pics had never been posted and why not have them today(?), they're for the Apuweiser 2018 Spring/Summer collection.

 Brand new modeling pics which are from the Oggi site, Rika's been an exclusive model for the company exactly one year now.

 There's about seventy new pics for today but the majority of them are in two mag spreads. Hmmmm, instead of wanting Rika to be a definition of perfection shouldn't we be creating new adjectives to describe her?! This fine set is from the May edition of Bijin Hyakka.

 Final item for today could be the largest spread of the year which is from the May issue of Oggi and once again Rika is their cover girl.
