Rika Izumi: Is here to save the day once again....

 

 Used that title twice last year, seems when the going gets tough there's always the 'old standby' to turn to. Hate to call Rika 'old' but in a way she is around here as she's the oldest woman I post often about these days and in six months she'll be hitting the age of 34! But she looks just as perfect as she did five years ago when she was first introduced though will admit do miss those gravure pics she did way back then and will we ever see any more from her? It's tough for an actress/model to hit a hundred posts, Rika's first post was in July 2017 and though she's averaged well over a post a month since then it's still going to take her almost two more years to hit the century mark.

 Did mention in the previous post how I was falling into a mini rut and needed to take a break from dramas as recapping them has become more of a job than a hobby. Also said a few other fave's posts have fallen into a rut too and hate to say it but Rika is one of the prime examples. Not a bad rut though as her pics have always been beyond superb but seems the posts have looked roughly the same over the last year and wish she would do a few other kinds of activities but not sure what they could be? As far as those dramas go Rika is in one that I'm putting aside for some weeks but will eventually recap it once my head clears. She's also going to be in a mini series that will begin in June titled "Me no Kabe" which looks to be an interesting thriller.

 This is Rika's fourth post since December 1st so she'll easily qualify for the yearly faves list. She's been in the top six five years in a row but have a feeling this may be the year when she finally drops a bit but truly hope not. Let's get on with the new pics and one thing that's been lacking the last two years are her attending events. But Rika did make an appearance at a 'Cartier Jewelry' Spring collection event on April 7th down in Kyoto and if you peer closely you can see she's still so overly sweltering....

 Rika always looks so classy at events and we need to see her appear at more of them. Spring collections have been coming out recently and this batch is for Apuweiser, should be seeing amy Summer pics soon too but sadly none will be of her in swimsuits, sigh....

 May not seem like a large post but there are sixty new pics. First four here are from the March issue of Bijin Hyakka while the others are from their April edition.

 One more spread which is from the April issue of Oggi, am holding their May edition back. Rika was the cover girl for at least the tenth time.

 May will mark Rika's third anniversary as an Oggi model and will end off with some terrific new pics from their site. So few Rika videos as of late, she's never really had all that many over the years though but after the pics is one for that March issue of Bijin Hyakka.
