Hitomi Honda: A little bit of this and that....

 

 Not a large post but I enjoy doing them for Hitomi and this is actually back to back posts for AKB members which probably hasn't happened in a decade! But there was a special post between the two and I suggest reading that for some info about what may be taking place here at this blog soon. In a post a few weeks back mentioned how the the genre of posts are streaky. One week there's so many posts for photobooks, the next one for J-Pop Idols, the following week actresses and dramas have more than anyone else, etc. Don't plan it that way but it's how things just naturally work out. This has been a week where J-Pop Idols have dominated the posts and it's a certain kind of them, your much more conservative Idols such as Hitomi who don't have gravure pics which is actually a nice change of pace.

 The last four years Hitomi can't make up her mind on what kind of hair color to have full time, I personally like all of them! It's been blonde more than any other color though at times also a brownish tint and this past month she's gone back to her original color. These are her some of her IG photos since March 1st and you can see how her hair color has changed.

 Hitomi will be the center for AKBs 61st single "Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki" that will be released on April 26th. It's the second time Hitomi has been the center for a regular single and have the link to the English subbed PV here, you can't embed AKB videos: "Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki da"

 That's a decent tune though I admit to liking their previous three singles a bit more but it's better than Nogi's latest singles. Hitomi used to do a lot of modeling but has really slowed down on that this year so don't have any kind of those pics which is a shame as they're usually superb. Figured with Hitomi being the center of the new single she'd have many more magazine spreads which so far isn't the case. Do have three spreads for today though they're all from the same magazine, this first set is from the February issue of Mini.

 Two more smaller sets from Mini, the top three pics are from their March edition while the other five pages are from their April issue.

 To me it seems Hitomi appears at more events than any other Idol, I'm not complaining as she looks so terrific at them. She's been at a pair of them already this month with this first event taking place on April 4th. It was the opening day for an exhibition of Wes Anderson's landscape paintings and I've never heard of the guy! But Hitomi knows his work and is the ambassador of the exhibition that's being held at the Terada Warehouse G1 Building in Tokyo until May 26th. Think he's from France(?) where she wants to travel to, why didn't she say Finland as she starred in a drama about the country.

 The other April event took place today and you'll notice her hair color changed again, think I prefer the above shade. Hitomi was appointed the one day police chief for the Shibuya station and that's a section of Tokyo, think I'd let her frisk me!!!! It was also to promote a new traffic safety campaign and this is about the fourth time she's had the honor of being a one day police chief. Plenty of arresting pics from the event and there are some videos of the event but after the pics will have one for the above event as I liked the way she looked at that better.
