Nogi also performed a few songs at the 2017 'Girls Awards' Spring/Summer show. Think at every fashion show they've always sung 'Girls Rule" which they did again at this show, that really is one of their best singles. They also performed "Influencer" and "Hadashi de Summer", that second is another tune which will soon become a staple for all Spring/Summer fashion shows.
May do another post for this event as there's plenty of Mai pics that weren't posted plus group ones from them performing, will wait a day or two to see if the group videos stay on YT. The event was held at the Yoyogi Stadium Gymnasium on May 3rd, there were a total of over 30,000 fans in attendance plus 140 models which means many didn't have much time on the catwalk.
Mai's post from the show is three below this one, she was one person who was able to spend quite a long time on the catwalk. But most Nogi members did too such as Asuka, her popularity these days seems to be going through the roof. Will have all the stats tomorrow but a few weeks ago her first photobook passed 100,000 in sales which is quite an achievement.
Nanase's popularity is already sky high, that's her above in the short video from the event. Her last PB which came out last September has also sold like hotcakes as the total is well over 125,000 copies sold. She'll be turning 23 on May 25, one day before that the group's third album will be released. Here's plenty of pics of the duo, Nanase was representing the Non-no mag. Asuka was there for Sweet but there hasn't been a mag she hasn't appeared in the last few months and there's also a short video of her below. Misa didn't take a stroll on the catwalk as she's not an exclusive model for any magazine, hope that changes soon.
