Minami is one of my all time fave Idols but you may not realize that with the lack of posts she's had here as this is only her seventh one. Should be another one for her very soon as there are a lot of upcoming activities as her group Up Up Girls has a single coming out on May 9th, more info on that at the bottom. Hope to have her spread for Young Magazine for that post too, Minami will be in a future issue though she didn't say which one. These are some dazzling pics from the photo shoot.
Minami's 26th b-day took place yesterday, my mind is really on the fritz as I almost forgot about it. Her best friend Yuu celebrates her 25th today, didn't forget that one though and hopefully can do a post for her very soon.
Not a huge amount of recent happenings but as mentioned there should be some very soon. There are a few though and one is that Minami is doing movie reviews for a site called Girls Flash with her feature titled 'Minami's Cinema Note'. Every other week she'll be doing a film review, here are some pics from her first one which was for the "Ikari" movie. This is the site address and you'll see her second review on the right hand side: girlsf.jp/life/cinema/19038
Not a huge amount of blog or Twitter pics but Minami sure looks terrific in them.
Though this is just Minami's first post of the year she is a huge fave of mine. For last year's top twenty list she finished in the third position and really just missed being #1. Would love it if she could take that top spot and with breathtaking pics like these it's easy to see why she's ranked so high.
Up Up Girls will be celebrating their sixth anniversary this June, Minami is the captain of the group and has been with them since day one. They're just so-so popular though their "Party People Alien" single from April 2016 did reach #5 on the charts. But they are a popular H!P affiliated group as they appear on so many of their music shows, seems at least once a week.
On May 9th the group's 22nd single "Upper Disco/Forever Young" will be released. Should be an event for that as H!P groups usually have a mini concert to promote their new singles. Here are two of the covers followed by a live version of "Forever Young".
